FS: Gen I Eezi Awn 1800 RTT

Looks like shipping to WA will be about $230 and to NY would be just under $300.

I have to figure out where to get shipping quotes and a pallet for this thing. Hang tight.

Scepter MWC & MFC and Valpro NATO Jerry Can Questions

Run some cider vinegar through the water cans before use. This usually kills the plastic taste. I keep water in my MWC's for a few months at a time without issue.

    1997 4Runner Trail-Ready, Supercharged ***Price Reduced***

Good lookin truck. If I were in the market we would be talking. I would be interested in the SC and accoutrements if you let it go separately and ^^^ isn't interested. Make sure its up at yotatech and the T4R forums too.

Anyone use a FrontRunner modular awning?

I've been considering building my own using sail track for mounting to the rack and then sewing sail bolt rope to some sunbrella or shade sail material and reinforcing the corners for some grommets and poles. Seems like it would be pretty simple.

I can, but it would have to be palletized and shipped with nothing stacked on top (eg, not cheap). Also, shipping is how this tent was originally damaged. My preference would be local pickup.

Hey, JJ, I was looking online and stumbled across an interesting setup. Howling Moon has a 2.4 meter wide tent that sounds like it might fit your bill, maybe just not your roof. There is one pic of the damage that is in this thread and you can see the patch I put over it to fix. I will try...

How strong is the 80's roof?

My FrontRunner rack on my FJ62 did not come with rubber for the feet, however I have a sheet of thin neoprene I'm going to cut custom rubber boots from.

    Front Runner Wolf Pack Containers

Owner of four here. Love 'em. The stack and lock, the stay in one place, they're not so big that you fill them to the point where you need two bodies to lift them, and, yes, they can be put on the roof rack, but beware you might end up with some dust in them if you do. Like most folks, mine...

$800 - Sold. Buena Park, CA, USA Purchased way back in ... well, long enough I don't have the email for when it shipped. It sat on our '04 Tacoma and our Chaser Trailer and has been used all over the California deserts. Now, with two kids, the tent no longer fits our needs and needs to go to...

How strong is the 80's roof?

The roof itself must be able to support the weight of the vehicle in the event of a rollover in order to pass US safety standards. That only really speaks to structure, however. The roof racks are not always tied in to the structure such that they will support heavy loads or may not be built...

Off road lights, what do you have/use?

Consider mounting your lights on your front bumper. Mounting them on the roof will create a reflection on your hood that will hurt your night vision and otherwise reduce the effectiveness of your roof-mounted lights (unless you're considering putting something on the hood to reduce the...

Wow.. Just came back from the dealership....

Money is easy to get. It floats the used car market and drives up the cost on new. $60k for a new Tundra is just stupid. I've seen these trucks fully loaded and its not like they come with anything outlandish and the factory suspension upgrades are always a poor compromise. There are a few...

    Android car stereo with GPS

At this point I no longer want to spend a bunch of money on something that permanently installs in my dash. My mobile devices contain my music and movie library, will have better support from developers, and can be upgraded very easily when the time comes. Any more, what I want from a head...

They have a store attached to their website. Presumably you can get pricing data there. I cannot access as it is nonfunctional on mobile.

    (EO)2 quick detach fasteners.

Seems cool if it works. The harshness of 30 miles of Death Valley washboard combined with the ride quality that can only be delivered by four leafs on solid axles would seem to conspire to allow movement between surfaces otherwise solidly held by friction.
