    2005 F-450 4x4 Utility Body w/ Starcraft Pine Mountain Lonestar Pop-top Camper

As far as secure concerns goes, I rear-ended a cargo van at 35-40 mph due to a brake line failure. Was told by a witness that the rear end of the truck all but lifted off the ground. The camper did not budge even an inch; checked all mounting points and all contact points sides. Sidenote: ARB...

    2005 F-450 4x4 Utility Body w/ Starcraft Pine Mountain Lonestar Pop-top Camper

Mine was already bolted down at time of purchase, and has not been removed since the original build sometime around 2005. I can easily see where the large bolts are located, from inside the camper and underneath the truck. Front most floor cabinet storage, and same at the rear. I'll see if I...

You're welcome. [emoji482] My camper is bolted directly through the floor to the service body. And, I agree, I hate standard camper tie-down setups.

Thank you. Have been searching other options, but not finding a true traction tire I want. I truly hate my Continentals and Generals. Any hint of road slush, and the rear end gets loose. Haven't hit the scale, but mean to just about daily. Never seem to get there. Guessing 10.5 K to 11K

Going to give them a shot. My tires are beyond their life expectancy and are crap from traction. And, I have no plans to lift the truck to clear singles, anytime soon. If these don't work-out, they'll be any easy sale locally. Already have a few contacts that will buy them the day offered...

Ordered some new meats for the truck today - TreadWright AT A/P 225/70r19.5s with Kedge Grip added and Micro Siping. Time for the Continentals and Generals to go. These should give some serious traction addition. Plus found a 10% off code. Comes in handy, especially when buying 8 tires total...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Have been working on my F450 service body camper primarily for over a year now. She is about all in order now. So has allowed some time to build on the 2010 Jeep GC Hemi Limited. Work in progress; currently 2.5" lift and 32" Rubicon take-offs. 3" Modified OME HD lift, RRO Hidden Winch Mount...

    Ford Fullsize Thread !!!!

It's a V10. Onboard 2800w Onan/Cummins generator (Cummins gave me the emblem when I had it serviced; said it was in impressive shape for age). Decal under the F450 is my local off-road & expedition group. Whew!!! I need a beer. [emoji481]
