Installed my limb risers! Pictures inside

Limb risers are for when you're going down a trail and there are tree branches that can ********** your windshield. The limb risers help to guide the tree limbs up and over your truck, rather than have them hit your windshield. If you do most of your driving in the desert this isn't a priority mod...

    Look what I got!

IC. Thanks for all the advice guys, did the install yesterday with a pal of mine in about 1.5 hours, everything went smooth, though the bottoms of those shocks are a pain to get in, and take a little "encouragement". This truck has had blown rear shocks since I bought it Nov of 2010, and WOW...

That looks awesome, where did you get those brackets that you used? I want to do this, I've just been waiting to get my roof rack and winch bumper first. But this is a good alternative.

    Look what I got!

My suspension finally came in, I've had it since Tuesday, but have been too busy with work and my nursing classes to even visit the forum. I'll be getting it put in this Sunday, I'll be doing it at a friends place, he's got all the suspension tools needed. I ended up going with the heavy duty...

Why to- not be complacent while working on you rig.

Wow man, I'm glad this story had a good ending to it, I would have dreaded reading this if it had had a different outcome. We've all had a couple of close calls, both of mine were while changing a tire. Once I was at home, but it was before I knew better and all I had was a little scissor jack...

How heavy is your 'built' Mitsu 4x4?

I agree, and If I must say, I haven't put as much thought in to that topic as I probably should. More stuff to think about. Although I have thought about getting one of those old surplus Canadian Military trailers before, maybe I should revisit that.....

    Recalibrate Speedo's after wheel upgrade?

Thanks for the reference, although I think the drive from down here in Orange County might be a little prohibitive ;) In your experience however, is this usually expensive?

    Recalibrate Speedo's after wheel upgrade?

I was wondering if any of you have done this? Is it difficult/expensive to do? My Monty's is gonna need some new shoes this year, and I want to upgrade to either 32's or 33's and was just curious about it, thanks :)

    Finally got a winch!!

I know what you're saying, and I hope you're right, I'm still a little paranoid about submerging it under water, I need to find a happy medium I guess. I figure if it can be mounted as low as possible, but still high enough to keep it as protected as possible. I'm still waiting to hear back from...

    Finally got a winch!!

The only other thing that keeps me from mounting it low in between the frame rails although with a skid plate it will be protected, if I have any water crossings, I'm worried about submerging the winch and screwing it up, when I talk to the fab guy, I'm going to see if he can mount it in behind...

    Post up your drawer/storage system

As if my mental idea of what I wanted to do for storage wasn't complicated enough, now I have to find a good place to mount my shotty as well ;) Nice build:clapsmile

    Finally got a winch!!

I thought about doing something like that to retain a more stock look, but I like the additional protection the new bumper would provide (especially for the winch), including the skid plate, as well as better mounting options for a couple of light's etc.
