Hmmm... I just removed and replaced the OEM shocks from my 98 TRD OffRoad version, they were Bilstein 4600s. Maybe the non 4x4 OR versions had those other ones?
Hard to find real world usage datapoints for how much electricity you might use daily. Here is one that is conservative, but not "no use, anti-tech", which a lot of folks bragging how little electricity they can get by on seem to be.

Uhmm... I'm just gonna say that the attitude of this post doesn't seem compatible with driving around foreign countries living out of the back of your car. There are 200,000 other things to worry about than microplastic and copper poisoning from the two main water supply methods used in every...
Lol, $700 for a wee tiny plastic table that is way too thick. Rather just buy 2 Alu-Cab tables and have 4x the surface area. Not a good option for me, trying to fit a table under overcab hang, for less $$ than an Alu-Cab table...
Yep. This is a reason why I went with Tune, 1Nov order, 18Jan install. More expensive, but bigger and well built. I liked Lone Peak design, but just too long with my money before delivery.
@roboteos super interesting. I noticed however that your video doesn't look like the panels are held perpendicular to the sun. At the sunset images, they were highly angled, like 45 degrees to incident sun angle. Even at highest sun elevation, they did not look fully perpendicular. It...
Thank gosh you provided a TLDR!!
I will save this for when I am stuck somewhere waiting for 30 min lol. I browsed and looks like some good info... going out to try draining my new 100Ah redodo mini into my power station to check capacity...
Loved your last system, looking forward to reading about this one or watching your video!
I use Pex in houses, but haven't in a mobile setup. But I do like the low volume lines, and feel they should do well. Hope someone more experienced has good info for you! Mostly just wanted to say...
Bilstein 4600. Basically the OEM for that yruck, I have a 98 taco that I just replaced them on.
The other one to use is bilstein 5100, but they are almost identical to 4600 but with ability to change height with a clip, to give 0", 1", 2" lift.
If you are happy with the stock truck, daily...
I have a workmate, it is a bulky heavy beast! Not good for me in a Tacoma. I also have looked endlessly at stainless tables, camping and catering etc, and only the Alu-Cab one so far has had legs that nestle inside of each other to fold up flat. Any link to a cheaper one that actually folds...
You can mix panels, in series if they are close in Voc, in parallel if they are close in Ioc.
You don't use Vmp, you use Voc for all "is this OK?" Calcs.
If you add them in series, then you will get the LOWEST of the two panel's amps. If you add them in parallel, then amps add but you will...
Thanks! Yeah, spent an hour looking at them yestersay online. None of their legs nestle, they all lay on each other making it not fold up thin. Only Alucab table out of 40 I looked at had legs that fit inside each other. Thus this thread ;)
