NOCO Genius onboard charger under the wiper cowl
Electrical panel under hood
blue switch in above photo activates the voltmeter and the KC Cyclone under hood lights.
Everything clears under the hood.
For a while I mounted a 40mm ammo can on the drivers side of my LOD tire carrier. It carried recovery gear as I wasn't sure I could get the tailgate open when stuck. I really liked it but the 40mm can got too many "mail box" comments from my wife's friends, it did kinda stick out there.
I...
Pelican also has the IM3220 that is 3" deeper if you want more overhead storage space.
And The pelican iM2700 could work great above the passengers seat.
I really like the Grenadeacorp Sub Roof Concealed Locking Storage system, but I'm hesitant to send the $$ on it. Plus while it has to be removed with the hard top off, it doesn't come off with the hard top. Got me thinking about mounting a pelican case to the underside of the hard top. The...
Nice job! Did you make it with any containers in mind? You may be able to find some nice plastic totes that will slide in and out at the container store.
Thank you. I've learned all that I know from reading threads online and looking up components and other builds. Not hard, especially because I enjoy learning about this stuff.
I decided to make a video last night to demo how everything works.

Today I kept working on my power management system. My 4th breaker came in (80a) and a 180a relay arrived (for ARB Twin Compressor). While the Twin compressor draws upwards of 60a I didn't give it its own breaker. I tied it into an existing breaker for circuit protection, I'll just have to avoid...
Made a little more progress today. I went ahead and ordered another 80a relay and a 2nd bussmann panel. This gives me 10 relays and 10 fuses up to 160a, twice that of an spod. Also I have an additional 6 fuses that will be constant on for lower amperage items like underhood lights and rock...
Tonight I started with my electrical system build. The goal of this project was to do it right, regardless of cost. I wanted something that was high amperage, waterproof, and very expandable/customizable.
So here we go.
STARTING POINT: :puke::puke::puke:
Cardboard pattern made:

Thanks for the clarification. I had pretty much decided on odyssey due to their performance. I already have a lithium jump pack so I started thanking that if I'm not concerned with needing a dedicated starting battery I would have more usable amperage with an odyssey g31 instead of 2 odyssey...
Man I'm glad I found this thread. I've been trying to decide between two group 34s or one 31. I had no idea 31s were so difficult to maintain. I can't imagine I would be happy with a $400 battery that I was required to plug in on a regular basis just to maintain. Back to leaning towards the 34s...
Wow that looks great! Any idea what it'll weigh compared to the factory hard top?
Do you have anyone still looking to mfg this top? I'm looking at the J30, but this top really interests me as I'm still debating about keeping the tent on a trailer.
I really like this product! Couple of questions if you don't mind. What is the weight limits? Width between vertical rails? Height between jeep top and bottom of slats? Also any plans on offering a larger rack or basket?
EDIT: I didn't realize you had to by the rack AND the slat kit. No way...
I like the mounted tanks for the pressurized water. I have a frontrunner water tank that would probably work great behind your seat if you didn't want to mount it under the truck. only takes up 3.5" of space.
How do you guys keep your tank from freezing in the winter? I've got a frontrunner...
After a trip to REI and deciding on higher quality components and actually measuring all items I've adjusted my build. Here is where I'm at now. Weight should be about 45lbs unloaded. I've ditched the drawers for nice containers I found at the container store and all the door shelves were sized...
