cool idea, never thought of that - wanted the pass through so hadn't considered using the space at all ... clever! wish you'd started your build before i started mine!
glad it made it ... and more glad it ain't here anymore! you have no idea how close i was to smashing that thing - boxing it up was a pain, but i'd already agreed to sell it so .... there ya go! at least i didn't lose money on this one, i sold the attendant seat and after shipping I lost about...
nice and clean! looking back ... i should've bought a cab/chassis and a used ambo box for it then started from scratch - spent countless hours tracing wires, removing circuits, coiling the removed wire ... then re-using it to add new circuits. hopefully i've got good notes so that i can add my...
i cut out most of the driver/rear compartment - fits a 30" square shower base. i'm putting a plastic 'sump' below that with a bilge pump to move the gray water over to the holding tank (will be passenger side under/behind the steps). plan is to have the sink drain into that sump also. toilet...
awesome, finally get to see pics of your rig! that is just about a twin to mine - built by wheeled coach? in your email you said you moved the electrical panel to the compartment 1 do you have photos? i was trying to figure out how you did that, all i could figure to do was move the stuff at...
It isn't, but to loop the tankless you have to add a smaller water heater into the loop. From reading that link sounds like you put the tankless on a timer to ‘pre-boost' the loop then the small conventional heater can keep it at that temp for a while (?). Not a good fit for an rv imo...
Will LP distributors fill it in the box? One thing I've read in other threads is how difficult some dealers/personnel are to deal with - -whether the tank can be filled safely or not. I'd prefer the hard mounted asme tank but have been planning to do a large portable DOT tank(s) just for ease...
Yep - unfortunately they don't work, too wide in front and to narrow in the back oh well. I'm thinking about getting a truck they'll work on though just because having military 2 piece rims is cool . Ended up getting Alcoa 22.5's and powdercoating them black ... got to a point...
wow you are rocking and rolling on your build! seems like just the other day it was still a wrecked camper in your barn! amazing skills can't wait to see the final truck
nice photos - inspiring for those of us stuck in the build process and dreaming of actual travels someday (soon??)
stay safe and keep the rubber side down ;)
For the hoseline system - is yours ac/dc or ? They have a parts manual on their website That can help you figure which one you have but the website is poor and hard to navigate
Only reasons I don't want to block my rear doors: useful to go to the lumber store, useful to even carry a...
