Plastic tote bins with vertical sides?

I looked at the Milwaukee Pack out crates, $49 and the cheapest lid they have is $29 and super clunky with a bunch of parts bins in it, great for nuts and bolts but not sure how great for camping. I do like the base plate attachment, but that's another $29, and I'd still have to make a lid that...

Plastic tote bins with vertical sides?

I just finished a dog bed platform in the back of our Ram and used 80/20 for the first time. It's overbuilt but I like the result and 2 full size Sidio crates fit perfectly underneath with room to spare.

Plastic tote bins with vertical sides?

I'm giving the Sidio crates a try as well. I like the dividers, the lids and with reversible red or black bottom liner you can actually see what's in the crate! LOL I'm using them inside our FWC Project M so they don't need to be 100% waterproof/sealed for our application. Will report back when...

How to trickle charge starter battery from house battery set up?

Just a heads up, the Renogy has a solar input voltage limit of 25 volts. I recently upgraded from a 100 watt Renogy solar panel to a 160 watt Overland Solar panel and found this out the hard way. New panel output is 29-32 volts so I ended up swapping back to a Victron solar charge controller and...

I've heard foam pipe insulation helps with this issue but haven't tried it yet.

What wire size for Solar and Victron MPPT?

I always go 10 gauge from the panel to the MPPT controller and to the battery. I prefer a little bit of overkill when it comes to solar wiring based on my experiences with thinner gauge wire.

Yeti Overland’s Tundra OVRLND Camper build

Great build out! Regarding the jack brackets, have you had a chance to try them out? Looks like yours were added when the camper was built but isn't something Jay is offering. He did say they can be added after the fact. I'd be curious to see how they are attached as having the ability to take...

Roverking 4 Seasons Off-road Truck Camper

I've been looking at these as well, looking forward to seeing a version for full size trucks. I want a lightweight slide in that I can remove and still use my truck as a truck, but that I can store outside. Lot of great camper shells from AT, Alu-Cab, Superpacific, but I wouldn't want to store...

    Midland MXT275 display question

Thanks for input! I can change the colors, but the behavior is the same no matter what color I choose. I love my MXT115 and I'm digging the rest of the MXT275 so far. I will hit up customer support as suggested and report back.

    Midland MXT275 display question

@MidlandUSA Can you comment if this is normal, just want to make sure I don't have a defective unit. I don't have the issue with my MXT115

    Midland MXT275 display question

Here's a weird one. I have a brand new MXT275 and have noticed that when the display backlight is on, if you hold the mic dead on facing you, the display goes away. If you tilt it slightly away from you it comes back. No backlight, it's very clear. Is this normal? This is best illustrated with...

The Unnamed - 2019 Ram Power Wagon Build

Haha, it's my "buddies" I'm worried about doing just that! I really like the RSI cap, I'm sure I could figure a way to secure the hatch, just wish they had used a better latch design for those of us who want to sleep inside. Not necessarily a deal breaker, thanks for the info.

The Unnamed - 2019 Ram Power Wagon Build

Nice build! Quick question on the RSI cap, is there a way to secure the rear hatch if you are sleeping inside? I've also heard the initially there were some issues with the push style latches freezing shut in cold weather due to moisture, have you run into this issue?

    4xe

Yeah, I've been following along on the 4xeFans group on FB for a while now and there are definitely some issues, and the scary thing it's not just one issue, it's a variety of issues. As much as like the idea, I'm not sure this one is ready for prime time yet.
