I've got a Superior from Duluth: https://www.duluthtrading.com/store/mens/mens-outerwear/mens-work-jackets/93226.aspx
Mine is an older design and is rated to colder temps. It has an additional very thin layer of some sort of tech fabric they make Olympic ski clothing from. I've camped in zero...
Welcome to the forum.
Looks like a nice shell ---- albeit a pricey one.
Pick your layers well and you should be able to make it work. Kiwis know cold weather ---- maybe pair it with some of their wool...
Big fish eaten by bigger fish...

Hope that Dave's wonderful Jeep collection stays around.
The problem with fit these days is that people have fat feet.
I know a guy that wears a 14 wide like I do. And 2XL-tall shirts like I do. But I'm 6'5" & athletic and he's 5'10" and 450 pounds. He's not a 14 wide; he needs a 10 6wide.
My feet aren't fat. Shoes tend to fit me either up front...
This is my portable grinder:

I might just whip out all the old kit and leave the instant behind on this next trip. I haven't had real coffee in a while.
You made me remember the gizmo that Ashley's wife was using at CFW '16 ------ propane fired coffee maker.
She's at 8:16 in slideshow. I never saw one before and thought it was really cool.
When I was a kid my mom's best friend was from Italy and everyone in that house drank Medaglia D'oro. I loved it but mom was a Maxwell House girl and that's what we had at home.
That's the sort of pot I have; it's sold under many names. We usually find them for about $10 at Marshall's. Really makes the best authentic espresso you can make, not fancy-schmancy.
When you gotta get your bean on, ditch the Frenchy and get one of these.
I used to have a little espresso pot. I'd grind the beans with my GSI ceramic grinder and make some really potent stuff.
But the time and cleaning didn't really seem worth it.
So now I buy instant Sarbuck's when it's on sale at Costco:
And serve it as God intended:
Plant based, whole food. "Vegan" implies a moral thing that we don't have going on.
We say vegan often though since most people are more familiar with it and it's quicker.
There will be haters but, I don't eat anything from an animal source after having a number of heart attacks.
My wife and I eat oatmeal for breakfast mostly when overlanding.
So, chorizo & eggs for breakfast eaters:
or
oatmeal for breakfast eaters (blonde woman is my buddy Ella):
I found a couple of Columbia shirts on sale at their Outlet Store nearby over the weekend. They actually fit and didn't billow at the waist. Made out of some super-duper moisture transport stuff.
But yeah, you gotta try them on. It sucks to order a shirt that you think will fit and you can't...
I use Blue Sea for my PDU also ------- my GPS, aux power outlets, ham & CB are all unkeyed but my lights are tripped by the running light circuit. Too many amps at stake with the aux lights and I don't want to risk leaving them on by mistake.
I run a pair of 8 gauge wires off the battery to an auxiliary PDU and tap that for 12v. For lights that I want to turn on/off only when the Jeep is running, I use a parking light circuit as the trip. That way I won't forget and leave them on when the Jeep isn't running (idiot ding ding ding...
Can't help you with the roof mount (Thule?) but use this to wire your lights.
If the diagram doesn't make sense to you, find a reputable shop. Maybe pay them a bit extra to mentor you.
Congrats.
I tried the Extra after getting my General too. Cold ---- missed by two questions.
I keep telling myself that I'm going to study and get it but every time I start my eyes glaze over and I crave beer. It's a curse.
WW4SES out.
As long as the combustion is complete the byproducts from butane are just CO2 and water. Add a little carbon to that if the combustion is incomplete.
You'd have to look at the MSD on Coleman Fuel or other proprietary fuels to see what's in their witch's brew to figure out what would be left...
