    Fridge storage

Thanks again Thanks for the additional input. ARB replied with the same as cruiseroutfit stated, and that's to not leave it running. I'm wondering if the lid ajar to allow airflow could be accomplished by just pulling the drain plug instead?

    Fridge storage

I'm curious as to what people do with their fridges when they are not being used. I've heard that it is important to have it running all the time to keep the coolant/compressor moving. Mine is not permanently mounted in the vehicle so right now it's just sitting in the house plugged in. Am I...

    Jerry can lid

Contact Blitz directly If it is a Blitz can then contact them directly. I ordered some replacement gaskets through them, and it was a very easy process. Sidenote - I have 2 pre-ban Blitz cans and never have had any leaking issues. Just follow the manufacturer's instructions, and use a...

    Jeep tailgate table ??

Questions on the JK table on a TJ Beowulf - Did you ever post your install? I would really like to see it. Beowulf & Tat - Would I still be able to use my Tailgate Stop (from Rugged Ridge), if mounted on the upper portion of the tailgate? From the photos it looks like the actual table would...

    Rant number 2....

As advertisied I just got back from using the jeep for some field work. 4 days and 3 nights. The bag(s) lost 2-3 lbs. in 24 hrs. Other than that they performed per the manufacturers specs. No rips/tears, controlled sagging and vehicle sway. Looks like it was a bad batch in my case.

12V Socket for Fridges: clever ones?

Natikonal Luna option Paul, what's the cost on the National Luna plug/socket option? I checked the website and didn't see price. Also are they available separately? I've got a newer ARB fridge and would like to use their supplied Hella style plug. Also not to highjack this thread, but I fixed...

12V Socket for Fridges: clever ones?

thanks for the reply Grahamfitter, thanks for replying. Got my outlet box set up. I had the extra circuit so I wired the sockets independently. I also mounted the box w/ 1/4 20 hardware through the tub. There's plenty of space, and access is easy. Thanks again. Ryan.

12V Socket for Fridges: clever ones?

Carlon box grahamfitter, great use of an inexpenisive,pre-fab box. I purchased one yesteday, and will start the install today in my TJ. A couple of questions: 1) How did you wire the 2 sockets? Is there a dedicated circuit for each? You mention (2) 10g wires (1 pos and 1 neg), but is that for...

Air Lift package arrived A package from Air Lift arrived yesterday. When I called them this past Monday (9/20), they were very helpful again. I explained what happened and they said no problem we'll send another one out. "Actually we'll send 2 out, that way you'll have a spare". Anyway, I...

    Rant number 2....

Follow up.... Well I received the replacement airbag on Monday (9/13), sent the failed one back, and installed the replacement on Friday (9/17). Went for a fairly easy drive yesterday, came home and checked the pressure - 0 psi. Put some air in the system and heard a leak coming from the new...

To K&N or not to K&N

This is a good discussion..... ...with valid points for both sides. I'm partial to running them. I live in the desert, and have had zero problems. Now I would like to touch on a point that has not been brought up yet. If your running a non-reusable filter, you're creating trash. I know that...

ARB Fridge Freezers On Sale: $689

Just got one as well Actually, I just ordered two (one for a buddy). So 2 fridges, 1 slidelock w/tie-down, and 1 transit bag. Awesome customer service! I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get into the fridge due to the 44" required for the lid to open, but it turns out the lid can be...

Update Hilldweller, thanks for the input. I did the same thing, used Rubicon Unlimited springs (stiffest I read), and still need a little help. I'm not on the bumpstops, but it sags. I contacted Air Lift today and the customer service was great. They're sending a new bag (free of charge), and...

Thanks Thanks mudbutt. The blown line I'm going with the clamp that came with the kit. Upon further inspection (after removing the bags), I noticed that ID on the hose clamps was different comparing left and right. The line was installed per the instructions/common sense. The line was pushed...

Um, okay Sparky, thanks for stepping up. What I bought was an Air Lift 1000 (as I stated). The alternative that would fit my application, was the OME (Old Man Emu) system (as I stated). Cost is a simple internet search. The bags are ~ $90, the OME system ~ $700. Please read my post. I don't...

    Using shackles made in China?

Van Beest I ordered (2) 3/4 Van Beest shackles from Master-Pull, and I couldn't be happier. Van Beest makes an awesome product. I work around cranes, and there is a lot of Crosby being used, but Master-Pull offered me a deal I couldn't refuse........

    Rant number 2....

Well unfortunately I've purchased another product that's not up to par. A little background, I was going through the process of trying to figure out the route to take regarding the carrying of extra gear/ sagging suspension on my 01 TJ. It was either going to be air bags or an OME system. Since...
