Since Im going SAS I wont be needing these.
The hubs are Superwinch which are some of the best on the market. They are in excellent working condition. I believe these are discontinued.
The front end is a 4.9 from a Sport. Selling it complete with all the correct half-shafts and new seals...
On to the speed sensors. The looks preety much identical. Two pins with two wires.
Montero on top (black), jeeps on the bottom (blue)
Montero left, Jeeps right.
They measure the same length. Here is Montero.

For the sake of ease Ill just use the original Montero sensor...

I was able to install the Jeeps pulse gear onto monteros shaft without any modifications.
Here is a pic of it being on the Jeep.
and here it is installed on the Montero transmission. They look identical.
LS would be nice. But that would be overkill on the budget. My stock 6G74 is pretty much rebuilt. Im going for OEM + :ylsmoke:
As far as knowing this stuff. I dont lol! It takes research upon research. Ill take a screen shot of my bookmarks just for this project so you can get the idea...
Here is the Montero pulse gear.
and here is the new installed Jeeps pulse gear. As you can see its wider than monteros. The input shaft had another grove closer to the splines to accommodate the Jeep gear and lock ring.
Jeep tail housing on the left and and Montero on the right. As you can see the mounts are identical.
This is the transfer case side. Quite a difference.
Having the motor out and doing much thinking I decided to take things further with this build.
