That's what I think to, looking like a duratrac. Tire reviews are so up and down, I take all reviews with a grain of salt and buy tires from brands that have been around for a while.
Well, you learned from the best and so did your old man from you, win win. I'll be getting a 2007 tundra dcab in the next month or two. Our good friend is getting a four door jeep to drive to his property instead of the big tundra. It only has 70k miles and it is fully loaded, has a campershell...
Beautiful pics as always! That's cool you wheel with your dad, I'm sure he's the reason you do all this. Your pictures of BC make me even more excited for our road trip next year up there, new truck in a few months!
The irok ND I have, have been the best rain tire of all the tires I've had. These tires actually have sipping, they do great offroad, not too loud, and we're $119 a tire! Best bang for the buck i believe for these trucks.
Ah I missed that. No you should be ok, you'll feel the power loss, especially on hills. I felt the difference, now I'm use to it, just have to plan for hills and rev it out some more. It will look great that's for sure!
I like the pizza cutters look on these skinny trucks! That truck in the photo has the bfg km2 33x10.5. You'll want to regear if you go to a 33. I don't think there is a 32x9.5? Super swamped makes a 34x9.5, but again regear. Here's mine with OME, inch longer shackle up front and 31x10.5.
That's why you have a bed, lots of room to lay down for a power nap! I think you will do just fine, I've done long hauls in my 83 and I'm 6'5". It's tight but not to bad, your truck would be a lot more comfortable.
If you're not going to lift it I'd go with 30s. I have 31s with three inches of lift and it looks great. I can feel I lost power, not bad but it is noticeable
