yes the van has a body lift and the tank is mounted in the rear, I think its larger than stock but I'm not sure.... Good to know that 4x4 is possible and the vans mods arent deal breakers, Tricky I can deal with.... What would you say are the best mods to increase MPG...?

Love all the projects and am looking at a ujoint conversion for me 2001 e350, my van was a medical transport vehicle, it had a wheelchair lift in it and a 'lowered floor'... any idea if the lowered floor will interfere with converting my van to 4x4..?

Just a fuel tank question... Ok, so you had to shorten the tank to make clearance for the t-case... your fuel tank is long and oval, my van doesnt have a tank like that, my tank is behind the rear axle and there is nothing along side the drive shaft and tranny... My van also has a second fuel...
