Was going to make this yesterday but we ended up getting the Jeep high centered and had to get rescued by a passing side by side. So today it's a Costco Rib Eye, a prime one too. Came in a three pack for $100, they are huge so we are going to split it. Seasoned with dried minced garlic and black...

Any Fly Fishing / Overland Addicts

I lived in Cora Wyoming for about 4 years. Very near the headwaters of the Green River. We would fish often because we always caught fish. And we often went into the Wind Rivers to get away. There about a million small lakes up there, really pond size. And many of them have a different species...

Impact of Congress voting to sell Federal lands?

Some of the best, most undisturbed land is designated Wilderness area. The Gila in New Mexico is one of the best ones. I have a buddy that runs hunt camps into the Gila on mules. Some of the biggest Elk on record have been taken there.

Then add two different kinds of potatoes, more onion, garlic that has been roasted in a pan with red wine reduction. Carrots, red pepper...

Not enough of the garlic smashed potatoes left for another go. Plenty of meatloaf left so I made a meatloaf and garlic smashed potato burrito. Tortilla's are great for leftovers. As always, using Boars Head three pepper Colby Jack cheese and Newman's Own salsa.

Impact of Congress voting to sell Federal lands?

At some point, everything is for sale. Just has to be the right price and then it's gone. I live on public lands, have now for about 18 years. Out west it's easy enough to do and has saved me untold amounts of money. If those lands go away, I will have to search more to find places that are...

    Hydronic Heating vs all Electric

My travel buddy has a Winnebago class A that uses Aqua Hot. Overall, he has been happy with it, but it has had some issues. The motor that makes the fan work has gone bad three times in the 10 years he has had it. You can't just go down to the electric motor store and get a replacement. You have...
