What is a good Jeep Forum?

Sorry, have to disagree. First, that is not a forum, it's a business and the owner/administrator will make that very clear. Second, you may not openly discuss products not endorsed by the admin. There is an entire list of folks that you cannot even elude too without being banned. Third, you...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Sorry, was too busy test driving so I didn't get any shots. Still need to get the rear extended sway bars installed hopefully sometime this weekend. I'll try to remember to put some pics up then.

    Contemplating purchasing a 2011 Rubicon

Tough decision, I've had my JK for 3 years now and wouldn't trade it for anything. However, it's not my only vehicle, but it is both my off road machine and a daily driver. The JKU is slow but the superchips flashpaq helps pep it up. Re-gearing will also make it less sluggish. The JKU also...

    An idea....CJ8+

We have owned a CJ6, a Commando, 2 CJ8's, a stretched TJ and a JK Unlimited. All had their strengths and weaknesses but the best bang for the buck is by far the JK. Although the extra width of the JK is not needed for technical rock crawling, it's wonderful for the overlander to have the extra...

Sorry guys but I love long drives too much...

I guess it depends on what your "needs" are. I NEED to go off road to help maintain my sanity. I use 4x4 a lot more than a few times a year. The Euro JK's get the 2.8l diesel and about 30mpg, rumor has it in 2012 they will have a diesel option for us, but that's been a rumor for a long time.

    Bolt on Power and MPG

08 JKU, 6.5"lift, 35"KM2's, full boatsides, F/R aftermarker bumpers & tire carrier, winch, racks,..... K&N filter & Super Chip tuner made a big difference. However I'm running an A/T and have the stock 4.10's. To get the best performance and mileage you need to rev it at hi RPM's in town and...

    JK Gas Blow Back

Just developed the fuel overflow issue this past month. The dealer put me on the list for a back ordered new tank. Being that this is a covered warranty issue I'm not sure it would be worth your time trying to fix it.

    Wheelwells

Rubberized undercoating will help deaden some of the noise from what your tire throws while off road, but the spray can variety seems to trap moisture and most of it flakes right back off. Haven't heard of anyone getting good results with spray on rubberized undercoating.

Here in NV we have "wild" horses. Here's a 3 week old foal from a herd that hangs out in the canyon I hike in every morning.

    Expedition JK Build

We both rock crawl and overland. As JK popularity boomed the original admin for JKOwners couldn't put the time into it so he sold it to pirate4x4. pirate moved there JK stuff to JKOwners.com. You need to set up your rig to suit your needs not to what others feel your rig should be. I would...

1st gen 4runner Planning phase, tell me where I am going wrong.

We swapped a chevy 4.3 with a turbo 350 in our '84 and loved the extra power. We did have to upgrade the radiator, add an electric fan and hood scoop, and HD transmission cooler as the chevy's like to run warmer.

    stocker jk build?

I'd up grade the bumpers, add a winch, roof rack, on board air, CB, buy a superchips module, and add interior storage for starters.
