All the spacer does is add a couple cubic Inches to your plenum chamber. I got one that matched for free so I tossed it on.

My Lil rig is a 97 wrangler with a 2.5L and on such a small engine every mod I have installed has made a difference, from homemade cold air to catback and in between such as bigger TB, custom TBS, accel coil and wires and more. Ofcourse they all work together as a whole along with my little 31s and keeping wieght to a minimum. My favorite mod is the 4.0L TB and extreme throttle body spacer. I am still debating If I will install a electric fan n order to reduce drag. My only concern is that it only gives it one more thing to fail out in the wilderness. Just how reliable are they? who knows? But for now happy with my rig. Dont get me wrong I do have a long wish list. But back to the point and that is on this little power plant I can feel every single pony added and thats even one pony at a time.

K&N filter & Super Chip tuner made a big difference. However I'm running an A/T and have the stock 4.10's. To get the best performance and mileage you need to rev it at hi RPM's in town and turn O/D off on the Hwy.

It's got more torque off the line than it did when it was stock and get's 16mpg in town and about 20 on the Hwy.

Home brew bored TB helped quite a bit at lower RPM to my suprise. A drum sander and an hour is well worth it. Just sand out the bore the restriction ring at the bottom of the TB being carfull not to hit the part of the bore that the throttle plate closes in.
99 intake helped enough that I would do it when you swap a cracked stock header.
I could not feel the cat back much but wrapping the pipe in front of the cat helps the gasses flow thru the cat as well. Hot gas flows better just like hot oil does. That mod also keeps the heat of the pipe from transfering to the transmission.
