Weight distribution is a problem isn't it. What I'm thinking is; What's his max payload, has he exceeded his tire's load rating. If he blows a tire, he's in big trouble.
Okay, I've seen a bunch of vehicles with snorkels. With today's modern trucks, just how much can you dunk the engine compartment and not end up with electrical problems. And how many have forded a stream deep enough to actually need a snorkel. I now their cool looking, but useful?
I have a '99 Isuzu Rodeo with the 3.2 V6 and after 160k the engine is fine. No smoke, passes smog, no leaks of any kind. My only issue today is a possible bad starter. I'll take care of that this weekend.

An older truck sans computer. For a gasser points and condenser ignition and carborated. For diesel, mechanical fuel injection, no computer, multifuel would be best. (perhaps a bobbed deuce?)
Find a compatible plastic glue, a sheet of platic similar to the item you want to repair that will cover the cracked area a couple of inches if possible. Glue the sheet to the backside/underside of the item you want to repair. This should give strenth to the area around the crack.

I would love a folding solar panel, but the cost is crazy high. I'm looking for a panel slightly smaller than the dimensions of my roof basket, that way I can mount brackets underneath and store the panel there when traveling.
