What makes you think it needs either? Drive it the places you want to go, with the gear you're going to carry and see how it goes. No need to spend money on those things if it's already perfectly capable for what you want to do. -Dan

There is also a funny quirk of trademark law - it's not enough to simply have a trademark legally granted, you must defend it in court, otherwise you lose it. So sometimes these kinds of lawsuits come up simply because Jeep must do it. -Dan
