One thing to consider with the Optima is the Amp-hour capacity that you get for a given size. For example, a group 31 Optima is 75AH, whereas a group 31 Deka is 116AH. That's a lot of fridge time :) Both are AGM batteries and have the associated advantages.

Thanks. The front locker is just another tool on the truck. We could have made it through without it (and probably without a tug), it just would have required more time to back off and reposition, re-approach, or just stack a few rocks. The locker was more of a convenience and worked perfectly...

Sorry, no write-up. The fuel is transferred to the OEM filler neck using an in-line pump controlled by an illuminated rocker switch in the cab.

I just completed another equipment comparison and review test (GPS units) for the Fall issue of Overland Journal, and I can tell you that the new Topo U.S. 2008 does indeed work on the GPSMap 276C. :) Good news is that no unlock code is required.
