Finally Found Some Dirt... Finally got him out in the fun stuff after the head gasket change.

The idea of the hood blackout wasn't originally for roof mounted/ rack mounted lights anyway. It cuts the glare of setting/rising sun or any other bright lights. I always just use a little more tape and make the corners gradual (or striping tape). IIRC, they make a stencil for the Disco hoods...

Looks clean! I bet it's a lot more quiet without the rack.

The biggest problem I have now I space. I have a pull through garage at my house in Kansas, but no such luck here. The community doesn't allow any sort of wrenching on vehicles in the driveway. I have the tools and know-how, just a severe lack of working space.

Looks like I'm pulling the trigger on the Kalahari. The head gasket is leaking exhaust to the coolant, with some good ol' pressurizing. Not a big deal, and its worth every penny (to me). The Disco is as close to pristine as I've ever seen, and I will be picking it up Saturday. Wish me luck!

I'll give them all a ring and see what it looks like. Any shade tree mechanics? Lol. All rounds are on me!

Check that fuel is getting to the cylinders between pump and cylinders. Depending on the temps and grade of diesel, lines may be corroded/clogged. If your getting fuel to the cylinders, check the timing on the pump. If everything else checks out, try holding something over the tail pipe while...
