Jeff, congrats on the new machine. It will be a useful tool for your travels :ylsmoke:
I am just getting into the mobile computing myself. When you say "antenna" I am assuming you mean "receiver". Because a GPSR (global positioning system receiver) can often times use an external antenna for...
I sent an email to the company, and received a reply from the man himself:
"Hi Chris,
Vista has some extra security features which will need to be taken into
account but we expect OziExplorer to run ok.
Regards
Des Newman"
I will be testing it out in the coming months and will report...
I think if you are adding rock sliders, all of the camping equipment, and a winch bumper, you will end up with an upgraded suspension, be it now or later. I don't think the stock suspension will be up to the task in the long-term. There are two ways you can go:
1. Add all of the weight on the...
Welcome Joseph. Very cool truck, and you are the first person I have seen on the forum with RadFlo products (that I am aware of). I too, like your choice of color ;)
The Nissan section here sure is growing...
Very cool! Roseann, you are rockin'
It's a great time to get a gift for next Christmas. Just tuck it away and then when the time draws near... no worries... it's done. :D
Martyn, thanks for posting the dolphin pics and words. Incredible! So that is the trick, eh? Get yourself ahead of their direction of travel and let them choose. Cool.
Sorry to hear about the car :smilies27

Thanks guys :)
SD, that is a cool link. I hadn't seen that one. They have some adventure reports on that site too.
And that link brings something to mind. If you aren't planning to add a roofrack or haul canoes/kayaks, etc, then a high-top shell can add a substantial amount of headroom for...
yep, I am 5'-10" too. I can sleep with the back closed up with no problem, but sleep on my side often. You are correct - there isn't much room to stretch the toes with it closed.
Jim, this is a fun thread :)
James, I'm very glad to see you posting your cool new setup here. It turned out really nice!
Jim, to address your questions, I haven't weighed the materials that make up my cargo platform. I used plywood for the deck itself, so James' figure of 90 lbs sounds...
Welcome to ExPo!
This is so cool... we now have a resident archaeologist here :jumping:
I love the truck and it sounds like you have some solid ideas. Unfortunately, I am pressed for time at the moment, but I will come back to visit the thread. I'm sure you will get some great feedback from...
