Total Composites Slide In Camper Kits

Your numbers are WAY off from reality! Show me proof of your freight numbers, your subframe pricing (and construction). What materials are used? Aside from all of this: Who is giving you warranty, parts (if needed), customer service? I have been doing business with Asian suppliers for almost...

No Slide In Campers in F350 Tremor?

Pretty much every pick up truck comes with that disclaimer. We have many customers that use the F150-F350 platforms for their TotalComposites slide in campers or flatbed campers.

    New project ! 2006 GMC 5500 4x4 Top Kick

For now we are keeping the dualies. The truck came with brand new tires and it would be a shame to switch them out. I'm also not a big fan of running "old" super single military tires that may or may not blow up.... After all, logging trucks, construction trucks all run this set up and have done...

    Ice, Ice, Baby 2024

As far as the habitats and equipment for these goes, nothing was sponsored. All components where carefully selected and paid for. Taking a vehicle that far off the beaten path in extreme conditions with components that are "sponsored" and installed just for marketing purpose could back fire and...

Why the big price difference between flatbed and slide-in??

I can only speak for our company Total Composites: Our flatbed campers have more square Ft and are manufactured with internal components that prevent sagging and allows for mounting without external tie downs. The sidewalls have more square ft also and require the sourcing of bigger sheets of...

    2KW Portable Diesel Air Heater

FYI be careful with "cheap" plastics in your hot air routing. You can end up with a super toxic mix of air. There is a reason the "other" brands cost more.

    Camper jack attachment durability

Ours bolt into internal (interlocking) structure that includes a 1/4” steel plate. Incredible strong And thermal transfer free. We recommend removing the jacks after the camper is loaded. It just needs this one silly driver in the parking spot next to you to bump into it and create a lot of damage.

Payload Tolerances: how close to max is too much?

All of our builders/partners can offer true custom builds. It's up to them to accept them or not. TC can supply them with what ever they need.

Payload Tolerances: how close to max is too much?

The high tariffs only apply to imports into the USA. But aside from that, they are build into the price and most times we are still much cheaper than our competitors. General shop costs in Canada are the same as in the USA.... Only difference and maybe advantage is the favourable exchange rate...

    Total Composites flatbed build

Our builders still have the option to offer custom builds. Due to the nature of processing custom orders, some are slowly backing out of this and focusing more on the truck campers. We are seeing a huge increase in requests for those. To be honest, it's very hard to make money with custom...

    Total Composites and Ventilation

The only fixed data we have is the empty shell weight. As soon as you ad wiring/interior lights/ storage hatches etc that number changes. Therefore every single camper so far has slightly different numbers. As mentioned above: the 1600-1800lb range should get you everything you need To be...
