Three doods do the Copper Canyon...

After escaping the hands of an even bigger meal, we set to cross the river again to head back to Los Mochis. The young one feeling the realities of a 6 hour ride. Posing close to home.

Three doods do the Copper Canyon...

After our successful crossing, we faced a stiff head wind that was bearable only by the dreams of a good breakfast at El Tigre's in Ahome. Glorious Scrambled eggs with onion, tomatoes an a whole lot of Shrimps  El Tigre showing off a good reason to skip the rest of the ride and take...

Three doods do the Copper Canyon...

DT minus 3 weeks. After deciding on a small crew, (My son Mundo, Hector Brito my business partner and myself) we quickly realized that a week climbing hills at 7,500 feet was a bit too much for us flat landers, so a training plan was in order. We will be riding 4 times a week for a month...

Three doods do the Copper Canyon...

Ahhh, summer. The days get hotter and the afternoon clouds on the east only means rain season has started on the Copper Canyon :victory: Being run down and with my Jeep nowhere close to a rolling state, I declared this season a two wheeled year and so far it has been great. Traveling on a...

    FORM 29'er: Expeditions West

Very, very nice  Have you ever consider getting a nice steel rigid SS AND a boutique (Titus, Ventana, etc) 100mm Full suspension. Seems to me that the nice thing about bikes is that you can have a couple for different trails and conditions. I have a SS Monstercross, a full suspension...

Anyone doing an XJ highline Low COG build?

I am looking at about 8" of travel, maybe 60%-40%, with high quality 2" shocks it should rump around pretty good. I am just afraid of my camping equipment disintegrating and as a wanna be Glamper would say, my wine bottles stirred too much :sombrero:

Anyone doing an XJ highline Low COG build?

Just make sure you put some sort of sliders on the transfer/trans bridge and a rear locker and it will go over anything, much better than a lifted truck.

Anyone doing an XJ highline Low COG build?

I went like that for a couple of years, 33x10.5 on 2" lift. I just got happy with a saw and fab some stock looking fenders out of fiberglass. My new CJ its gonna run 35s on 1" lift :victory: Low COG its the only way to go. Saludos

    Can't decide!

Have you considered a less trail-worthy dual sport like a BMW 650 GS?, maybe it will be a better compromise.

Bicycle for Sale, Titus RacerX Hammerhead 100

Its the FSR design (The one that Specialized patented), does not activate with pedaling or braking. On 2004 a guy from Austin (Hammerhead Bikes) convinced Titus to make a run of the RacerX´s with 100mm of travel instead of the usual 80mm, this is one of those frames. I used it for about six...
