Did any gen 2 SR s come with open diff? The LS has smaller axles and diffs. Something like 8 inch ring gear vs 9 (but I don't recall exactly)

I think there is traction control and stability.... in my experience, stability seems to cut power to help you get the car under control. I have noticed that the lights do flash when things start to slip.... it's kind of helpful to see which wheel has lost traction

I changed out the door lock actuator this last weekend... you might want to pull out the lock mechanism and lube it up. There are a lot of metal on metal points and springs. You also might want to lubricate the plastic piece near the inside handle that shows if the door is locked or unlocked...

Driving around tonight got p0431.... looks to be a bad cat on the drivers side.... which makes sense because that was the side with the cracked exhaust manifold.

I actually think you can do the tensioner without the whole belt coming off.... assuming you can pull the crank pulley off with out the crank timing gear coming off too. Use some binder clips to hold the belt on the cam gears. Be sure to put it in tdc before you begin. Once the tensioner comes...
