It's obviously not perfect, but clearly it's good enough to make the trip, which is awesome.
We also have Charlie and Ewan riding up on electric Harley's and a Rivian pickup.
These kinds of electric vehicles are only going to get better and better over the coming years, and it's not a question...
Sweet, I'm happy to hear your opinion. You're all set to ride to Argentina then!
...let's be honest, these guys are really driving to Argentina right now, and you're not riding your bike to Argentina right now.
So while the bike is good in theory, they're doing the most important thing...
I messaged these guys once while they were still in Alaksa.. I *think* they said they can get 30 miles of free range per day from the sun.
It's an interesting trip for sure, no doubt the future.
Imagine driving around the world without spending a cent on propulsion. My dream.

I spoke to quite a few people this summer with the AEV high capacity setup and they universally *loved* it.
I took a lot of measurements, and they were all sitting right around an inch higher than I am with my AEV 3.5 lift.
So far I've decided it will look a bit silly with only 33 inch tires...
I was in Toledo this year for the Toledo Jeep Fest. Obviously a huge number of people there work at the plant, and so yes, Jeep is extremely popular as a vehicle brand there.

Thanks for all the info!
Yes, I heard the EPA had really cracked down on the guys flashing the computers and currently there isn't really a solution. I'm hoping something will pop up again for "off road only use".
As for filtration I certainly would add an extremely fine filter to the lines. I...
That's great news, thanks!
How do you like the EcoDiesel and 8 speed combination?
Have you ever found much info on running it on lower quality diesel? I've tried to do some research and have not come up with much. Obviously it would need a computer flash to get rid of EGR and the DPF system...
Very, very interesting. It's actually not as high as the export JL with a 2.2 L diesel, though I'll bet the Australian ones are testing using a different methodology so it's not apples to apples.
I can't wait until people start getting the 3.0 Wrangler and put 35s and some weight on it to see...
Sweet, I'm really looking forward to this.
I was just at the Triumph motorcycle factory & museum and it's a really cool way to show the hsitory and story of the brand. It will be really cool to have everything in one place showing where Jeep started and where they are today.
Maybe there will...
I have never seen them in real life up close.. so take this with a grain of salt, but I assume they bolt right through the tub (at least the lower mounting hole).. if that's the case I'd but a massive plate on the inside (like a big washer) and I would feel very comfortable they wouldn't buckle...
Thanks Jeff, I appreciate it.
I don't have any plans locked in right now, but if I do use this same Jeep for another massive expedition I will ask you very, very nicely for some help :)
Cheers again, keep up the great work!!

That's great news Jeff! Like I said at SEMA, your barn door is literally the only thing I have seen at every Jeep and Overland show this summer that I want on my Jeep!
Fingers crossed you guys can come to an agreement!

The challenge will be the bed needs to remain separate from the cab so the frame can flex and twist and whatever.
Though I still wouldn't say never ;)

For years people have said I'll believe it when I see it.
Well, the time has come
Jeep estimate (official EPA figures are not in yet) is 30mpg highway.
Very, very, very interesting.

It was disappointing to see this Gladiator at SEMA - the hood was always closed.
What's the point in a 1000hp engine in a Jeep at SEMA if you can't see the engine ?!?!
