    Roof Top Tent with Rack...

Here is the site... I think you'd have to disassemble it...and getting Humpty Dumpty back together again might be a trick. If you get one and are successful with the modifications I'd be interested in the write up. Brittan

    Roof Top Tent with Rack...

Thanks for the heads up on the tent. I am still in the market for an Eezi Awn 1600...For $400 I figured I couldn't loose. I will be in Moab on Oct 6. How long are you staying?

    Roof Top Tent with Rack...

Good question...It shouldn't if I put a textured finish on it. I won't know until I do a good trip with it.

    Roof Top Tent with Rack...

I am almost done preparing for a trip to Moab and thought I'd share with the community. I sourced the tent for $400 on a close out. I think they are redesigning the tent and pushed the old model out the door. I had to find a place to put it and until I get a trailer built this will have to do...

Expedition Ready FZJ80 For Sale (possilby)

I have been reading this post...and saying to myself...SAY IT AINT SO... I want to buttress kcowyo comments. Way to much time invested to let it go IMO. The buyer pool is to small. Jumpin jack trailer is a good option... Regardless, good luck either way...

All new FJ owners...take a look at your tires...

I think they learned from Ford's experience with the Exploder...er Explorer. There is a big difference in attitudes when problems come up...that's why there isn't a Ford in my stable. Toyota makes it a customer service opportunity, even though it could be a recall. Ford denies there is a problem...

    Land Cruiser Technical in Somalia

Toyota must be proud of this endorsement? A few years back I was at Rio Solado shooting range in E Mesa when a guy in an old Jeep pulls up to the firing line and starts dropping 50BMG rounds into the hill side from the back of the Jeep. He was aiming for a large rock at the 1/4 mile mark...what...

    Climb and Crawl 2006

Dude... Here is what you missed... Take peaches in water and drain them. Place the peaches in the bottom of a Dutch oven. Take a yellow cake mix and add water. Make the mix a thick consistency but not too thick...this takes experience to get right. Pour the cake mix over the peaches. Put 70% of...

Climb and Crawl 2006- 5/19-21/06: Planning Thread

I was out last weekend, not in lower devils, but it was hot everywhere. I have been thinking of places around there with water...There are a few ponds but they all serve as watering holes for cows and aren't the kind of thing you want to jump into. There may be water at the bottom of the canyon...

Looking to jump from Land Cruiser to Tacoma....

There are small differences...my 01 doesn't have ABS...Expeditionswests' 04 does. For the most part they are the same. I hate to see someone get rid of an 80 though. I am trying to find the time to build my 80 up...although I admit its because I need more room for the family.

Climb and Crawl 2006- 5/19-21/06: Planning Thread

I will bring my rope and extra seats (harness) if we are short. I also have extra belay devices. I have been in the canyon before and everyone will enjoy it. I will be sad to see it go but excited about the new area they are opening up near Aravaipa canyon. Everyone I talk to says it will be the...

    links to good bumpers

Here is mine... If I had time I'd do another with a winch...not a 2" receiver. My approach angle is better but ARB looks better. Be prepared to spend some $$$ on a custom job. It's not as easy and you need the vehicle there to fit it. I spent a good 20 hours on my front. Another 30 with Chris...
