    Chiricahua Mountains, AZ - 09/08/06

Welcome to ExPo  The Chiricahuas are some very special mountains indeed! Lots of solitude and history there. I think the optimal way to experience the best parts of these mountains is on foot with a backpack.

That would be cool! Thanks, likewise, I would be honored too. Regarding the timing, I'm not picky at all. Flowers or no flowers, snow drifts or not, I would just be happy to be there, wherever "there" happens to be. :)

Tacoma starter failure at 135K miles

Wow, this is the first time my trusty Tacoma would not start due to a mechanical failure that was solely a Toyota issue. (Previous three occassions were a cracked battery connector, dead battery (my fault), and a malfunctioned aftermarket ignition-kill security device, none of which left me...

    Waterproof cb help

How about just using a cheap CB, but mount it inside of a watertight tight box with a flip-open lid at the end where the controls are? You could seal the openings for the wiring harness and mic with rubber grommets or silicone. Just an idea

This would be one of many dream trips for me. You just hit all kinds of incredible stuff. I would probably not be too out of line saying you did some of the premier backcountry trails in the nation - would I? BTW, I am really diggin' that Prado. How did he end up with that?

    04 steering question

Quite possibly new tie rod ends and new rack bushings will take care of it. You should be able to troubleshoot these items if you can get it up in the air and have someone sit inside and move the steering back and forth. You can see the whole rack move if the bushings are worn out, and you will...

    Flyingwil's Taco is growing up!

Looks fantastic Wil! Yep, that is the shower I have. I dig it. 9 bucks is an awesome price. Did that incl. shipping? A "TWIST" eh? I am imagining another piece of plywood on a post hinge, that sits just above the deck. When at camp it pivots so the slides are parallel to the rear wall, and...
