Looking forward to following this thread. I picked up a Toreador Red 15 passenger with a V10 recently and am anxious to see how yours comes out!

I’m planning on laying down roughly 1/2” of foam under 1/2” marine plywood, but the L-track I’ll be using is only .55” in height. I’m not using the flanged kind, and will just route out channels for the track. I’d like for the track to come flush to the surface or just above, and am curious what...
Well, that's super good to know. Thanks! I didn't realize that—but, then again, I couldn't figure out why it needed to be there. Now I know! I'll get the old stuff out, and get some new stuff in.
After looking at this thread, I'm kinda leaning towards using Tremco Vulkem.
Heating from below? That actually makes even more sense. I'll have to try it that way.
Do you all think I *need* to apply new sealer (like Sikaflex) if I pull all the old stuff out??
Definitely not looking forward to it, but I'm about to strip all the old sealant out of my gutters. I've got some surface rust visible in cracks in the old sealant, and I want to treat it before it actually becomes a problem. **Can't think of how to do that without getting all the old sealant...
That's an interesting way of doing it. Finding some gray leather Tahoe seats and gray leather front seats (from somewhere) could be a decent match too.
Do the outboard seats use the Ford shoulder belts? And do you have the seats bolted to some square tubular steel that's bolted to the floor...
I've recently acquired an EB passenger van, and would like to lose the factory benches and replace a few of the rows with bench-type seats with integrated 3-point belts and head restraints. (I can't help it—my other vehicular passion is Volvos). I also need to upgrade to a power drivers seat so...
I'm looking to go the other way, and was wondering if anyone would want to trade? I'll ship you my good, uncracked Ford (not aftermarket replacements) composite headlights with working bulbs from my '01 XLT with 71K miles, if you send me your unrusted headlight buckets (with all springs...
Looking forward to more pics! Hopefully no one minds a different utilitarian vehicle showing up occasionally in your master build thread. I'm not on social, but I'll try to borrow one of my students phone to check out your IG (I have one who is all about that #vanlife, and will surely become a...
I'm a newcomer around here, and it's fun strolling through this thread to see all the sweet vans. However, I'm every bit as excited to see some good ol' Swedish Metal in here too—I love me some Volvo wagons. I see from your sig it's a '93…is it a Classic? It's a great color, too. A little sad to...
