    1975 F250 Highboy Crewcab 4x4 Project

Nice truck. I love older trucks because the bones are great. With some upkeep, that will last forever.

Frame Strength, Who to Believe! The RV Sales Guy or the New Truck Dealer? Maybe Neither?

What I saw was someone going too fast and flying across a washout; hitting the far bank. I've seen it many times in off road racing. If it will take out a trophy truck, a stock vehicle is doomed. It doesn't matter the suspension when the frame is making contact with the ground at high speed.

Frame Strength, Who to Believe! The RV Sales Guy or the New Truck Dealer? Maybe Neither?

I agree and would like to add that all bets are off when you bottom the suspension out. It doesn't matter what the ratings are when you are slamming the frame into the dirt.

How to lift and mount heavy baja style truck canopy (not slide in)?

I have a set of those cable jacks. Because my truck is lifted, I modified the jacks. I sleeved the original tubes with longer .120 wall tubing to make them taller, and replaced the cables with thicker braided cable. They work great. The photo shows them unmodified.

    Service truck bed toppers

I mounted a shell on my trailer with a service bed. The bed is for a minitruck so it's the same width as a full size truck bed. I just bolted it on. It would depend on the dimensions of your bed.

That doesn't sound too encouraging. :( I have beadlocks so the hardest part is just breaking the inner bead. The rest is pretty easy.

    Project "Autonomous" F-350

I've been waiting for parts, and a weather window to get my new Patagonia XT's mounted. I got sidelined working on my Mom's car. Checking the brakes and one of the hub centric wheels was rusted to the brake drum. Rust blaster, heat, slide hammer; nothing worked. I even loosened the lug nuts and...

    Overlandtowater’s solid axle suburban

Cutting is easy. If you cut too little, it just takes longer. If you cut too much, you compromise the axle tubes.

    Overlandtowater’s solid axle suburban

I'm in the process of converting a 14 bolt full floater to 6 lug. It's been challenging.

Frame Strength, Who to Believe! The RV Sales Guy or the New Truck Dealer? Maybe Neither?

That's my one ton truck. Just pointing out how much frame movement takes place between the bed and the cab.

Yes, I looked it up and those are rock ejectors. I did a lot of research before I chose these tires. I can't believe I missed that info on the stone ejectors. I've never seen something that looks like that. I'm in Arizona so I have to deal with rain, mud, snow, rocks, and lots of hwy miles...

    Project "Autonomous" F-350

They are Milestar's new Patagonia XT. They are somewhere between a mud terrain and an all terrain.

I would take that camper but it would cost me 3K in fuel to go get it. o_O
