used the ranger for the first to tow a trailer over a longer distance. Awesome! plenty of power.

We can not drive our ranger below 18l/100km mostly city traffic. Couple of things that bug me on it but overall a great vehicle. about discounts when purchasing a truck: those times are long past!

I would go with your trucks manufacturer recommendations. At the end it doesn't matter what regulations are in Australia if you are in the USA.

Good point about the cook top. The way we see it: Keep it flexible and use a stove you can move around. With a lithium battery system you could run induction as we do in our transit. Or you simply go with a propane cook stove. My very last option would be a diesel cook top. They are simply too...

My understanding is that those are two different axles. Our rear wheels line up with the front.
