The goal in sand is to "float" on top of the sand and eliminate wheel spin. When you drive over sand and leave a perfect imprint of your tire tread, you have reached that goal. Be mindful that different types of sand require different pressures i.e. coarse hard packed moisture laden sand on a...
We built this cool storage system for a nice 110 with a 3.0 TDI for Katika Africa Private Safaris. The cabinets and platform are line-x coated composite. The tray is aluminum and uses 500 lb rated lock-in/lock-out slides. The insides of the cabinets are lined with a rubber cushioning material...

The MaxCoupler has unrestricted movement in a 180 degree vertical axis. The break over angle will be dependent upon the ground clearance of your vehicle and trailer, the distance between your vehicle tire contact to the ground to the pivot point on your coupler, the distance from the coupler to...
You want to protect your NLPP from the elements. We recommend putting them in a nose box or some other weather tight container. The electronics are not designed to get wet. You'll need an extra Andersen plug and cable set to move it between vehicle easily. We have them in stock when you're ready.
We now have Max Couplers back in stock. Call the shop at 928-227-0545 or drop a line to info@adventuretrailers.com to place your order.
The manufacturer fixed the retaining roll pin issue by welding them in place.
On subject of the Line-X texture as well as other poly bed liners, while they offer UV stable versions, our experience is that when exposed to continual sun for which Arizona is notorious , it loses its luster and start to looks a bit chalky. The prototype Oasis trailer we built a few years back...

Happy to see that you're fully underway Amigo! I love the the Apprentice theme. My mentor from many moons ago, Ron Ribal, told me that the obligation of the receiver of new knowledge and skills is to pass it on. You have much to bring to those whom you meet along the way and a wealth to learn...
You are correct that they are in the testing phase. We heard today that they expect to complete testing this week and that we should be receiving our back-orders next week
Thom,
The issue with the OEM wheels is that the center hole is too small for the axle hub and cap to fit through. The way we solve that is with a spacer that is 2.5" thick. The alternative is a different wheel with a larger hole. Drop us a line at the shop and we'll be happy to help you with...
DK, yes we have had some opportunity to use the Habitat with NEMO tent and our spec fabric under some less than ideal conditions. Jeremy of Expedition Ops and I spent two nights in continual downpour in Ouray Colorado last year. I was a little worried as we had not tested the fabric beyond the...
This is a very nice trailer and a very good value. Mark worked with us over the course of 4 months to get this dialed in to work with his beautiful FJ-45. Mark has proven to be a reliable and honest person in his dealings with AT. Any questions that anyone may have about this trailer, please PM...
