I gotta run - we're on our way. Good luck with the tank - not sure to tell you where to find us other than the azrocks campground off cottonwood canyon road - www.azrocks.com I don't think we have any plans to camp at Oak Flat.
OK, we'll look for you and Ben. When do you think you guys will make it out there? It looks like things have changed slightly, and Scott and I probably won't arrive until after dark tonight.
As far as hooking up for Hackberry, I imagine we will leave the AZ Rocks camp at 8:00 am on Saturday...
Excellent! Thanks so much for sharing this trip. I can only daydream about how fun it would be to explore that area on those cool motos. Incredible!
Yes I did... all by my lonesome... and it was bloody cold! But one of the most uniquely beautiful experiences I have ever had. Al is right, it...
Yep, I will be there!
Bman, Wil, BX - do you guys have any plans for trails? I am thinking of doing the woodpeckers or martinez since I haven't done those for a long time. Although Coke ovens is always tempting because it's such a beautiful trail that's nice and long so it can be savored...
Whoa. Looks like you inherited something else too... an $800 label machine?? Must be nice! I am stuck with my redneck tape :( Even a cheapy label maker would be nice... but that thing?? Shazam!
GT is just paranoid. :p (J/K)
Have you tried to determine if anyone else has successfully used the sunroof wiring? As you say, it sure would make the install more simple. However, I do agree with GT in that you would need to verify some things to make sure all of your ducks are in a row...
The link you provided doesn't work for me. It seems to be dependent on cookies from your machine (?).
I have not tried the Bridgestones. Can you post the tires you are looking at? Probably the Dueler AT's?
Nothing like a good razzing from Russell. :D
Sorry we didn't make it pal. We were eastbound on Sheldon in the Matrix, on schedule, when Sharon decided she had another idea in mind (as mentioned in the other thread). Hope the bake-a-lite hunt was successful!
******** at the beer and jerky...
I moved this thread to "completed" and you can start a new one for the revised Rainbow trek. (including a link to this thread might be a good idea).
Hey, I hope you tell us more about this trip. Sounds interesting!
Wolfman, sorry to hear of the illness!
Mark, the Apache leap area sounds...
Good idea on the paint, that will look really sharp. If it were me, I couldn't wait on the winch... hehehe. The ARB bumpers are pretty easy to install and remove - I'd go for it :D
OK pal, that locks in our group for this trip.
It is going to be a good one! :victory:
I will post more details for pre-trip prep at least a couple of weeks prior to the trip. As of now, we are about 5 weeks away.
