Spare tire in front of grill.

We have two spares on our front bumper (lowered by hydraulics). The bumper extends in front of the tires. In Argentina we met a Canadian couple with a front tire mounted on a Tiger similar to what you are proposing. They were forced to remove it because the spare was in front of the bumper and...

    Bedford RL Rail on rail

Pvc is a particularly nasty plastic and should be avoided whenever possible. A "soft" box will be difficult to insulate and install doors and windows. It will offer all the security of a tent. A commercial fridge body is a great option.

    Bedford RL Rail on rail

Mercedes trucks have a similar twisty frame. Mercedes recommend a 3 point mount or a ridged mount. our box is a ridged mount with over 25 years and 400 000 km of use. The box has to be very well built to stand the stresses.

    Recirculating Showers?

The problem with UV is the water must be clear for it to work, any particles in the water protect pathogens from the light. Filters for getting that level of clarity will clog and need to be changed regularly. Putting gray water through the system will clog the filters even faster.

    2 spare tires?

We carry two spares but we tend to go to some extremely remote places. For most people, especially in the US, one spare with a compressor should be enough. If you get a puncture, that's it, turn around and get back to asphalt.

Should I Jump on 2007 Mitsubishi Fg140 4x4 for sale?

6 new tires is not a plus since you will want to go to singles, so you will be paying for 6 new tires the wrong size.

    Opinions between Espar and Webasto?

We are on our second Webasto in our truck. The first one lasted 23 years. The second is 7 years old and works without issue. I would add the Planar heater to your list.

    Best heater for extreme altitude

Good point about being at altitude for long periods of time. We try to avoid camping at extreme altitudes (14000') because it is not comfortable to sleep at those heights. When we camped at those heights it was because it was as low as we could get that day. So although our Webasto ran fine at...

    Continental MPT81 on Non-Beadlock wheels?

If you do not need the load capacity (and with the MPT81 you probably don't) stay away from the dually setup.

Insulation under van floor, rockwool rigid boards

Roxul board soaks up water like a sponge when submerged. It will weigh a ton and take a long time to dry. It is designed to be installed vertically and act as a drainage/insulation layer behind a rain screen.

    Expensive, but probably worth it.

Half the panels are shaded by the air conditioner at any one time. They are the failure prone flexi panels so the new owner will have to replace them with the layout of their choice.
