Identify Your Enemies - How are Enviro/Eco Groups Funded?

Some folks feel they have to immediately pigeon hole everyone into some category for there own mental comfort. People just need to realize it's ok for people do have differing opinions. They have been formed by each individual's life experience. Civil discussion with those of differing...

The CUCV Build-1986 M1031 Mobile Field Maintenance Assault Vehicle

This is what we use for quickie meals. http://www.raneystruckparts.com/roadpro-portable-stove/?gclid=CMLuxeW7zccCFQuQaQodVl4B9A My wife makes up breakfast burritos or cuts up a breakfast quiche and wraps them in foil. We throw a couple in the trucker oven and head down the road. 15-20 min...

    2015 GMC Canyon

Great build man!! I hope you get to do the TCAT sooner than later. That's on my list too, but about 5 years out. We did the CDT a couple of years ago. That was a great trip, but just a little over 1/4 the length of the TCAT. We explored the Canadian Rockies this summer and fell in love...

    Expedition Overland - 2015 Season

I actually prefer it being released one at a time. There's something about the anticipation week to week that is enjoyable for me. If it all came out at once, I'd be too tempted to kill a day with an XO marathon session. [emoji3]

    Ammo Can First Aid Kit

I always include activated charcoal capsules. Works great for food poisoning. It absorbs the toxins the bugs put out. It actually works pretty well for GI issues in general. Since it's an absorbent and not a drug, there aren't really any dosage issues. I had a friend that ate some smoked...

    RMP&O's v8 80-series

I'm glad you are all safe. That's pretty good testimony for your build. It is a good opportunity for this though. An aluminum 4 door fj40 style body that bolts up to an 80 frame. http://redlinelandcruisers.com/product/fj-ute-4-door-40-series-body-kit/

Do you feel the need to have a weapon when camping

Check out the local firing ranges and find a qualified instructor you're comfortable with. (1) get training, (2) try a selection of firearms and pick a caliber and model you're comfortable with, (3) heeding advice from the aforementioned instructor, try a variety of holsters until you find one...

    '95 Disco oil pump question

Who rebuilds a rover engine and doesn't redo the oil pump? That ranks up there with not doing the heads.

So your daughter cuts her finger...

Ahhhhh! The old monkey blood! My grandma loved this stuff. She would even use it to swab the inside of our throats when we had tonsillitis or strep. It actually worked! I cut my finger badly chucking up a hole saw to install my snorkel 10 days ago. It was almost to the bone and I...

Do you feel the need to have a weapon when camping

I know a man and his wife who both retired from teaching in Alaska 4 years ago and moved back to Oklahoma. They taught in a small town about 60 miles from Anchorage. He said there were about 90 students in the school grades 1-12. In the winter, all the kids walked or snowmobiled to school...

Do you feel the need to have a weapon when camping

Not exactly true. I think you'll find that people around the world camping in remote areas where man is not the top of the food chain are armed in one way or another.

Do you feel the need to have a weapon when camping

I myself was born in the late 1950's. One guy I used to camp with fairly regularly was born in the 1930's. We both were armed when camped in remote areas. If I'm in a busy campground such as a state park I don't usually carry, but have one locked up but accessible in the vehicle.

Diabolical inc heavy duty drawer box.

Item is sold! I bought this at Expo and got a great deal on it. It's a heavy duty aluminum drawer box. 36"w x 28"d x 10" tall. The drawer dividers are removable. This is an extremely well made unit and is brand new, but it has a few scuff on the powder coat. It was their prototype and...
