    Vikings 2500 everything build

Ah, yes that is something strong. I may decide to do something like this in the future, but as of this minute I can't see that happening.

I had looked into that stuff and rhino/line-xing the truck but I really just hate the texture, makes it very hard to clean, plus if you ever sell it takes a very specific buyer. Def durable.

    Vikings 2500 everything build

Thanks man. Not gonna lie that first trip I just kept kicking myself for taking such a nice new truck through what I did. That said, the thing is a beast and handles it all surprisingly well. If I was smart I'd have bought a truck for on road as a tow vehicle to keep nice and a cheaper off road...

    Vikings 2500 everything build

Assuming you have the Hemi then? I've got the Cummins and mine is a tick under 2200. Not a huge loss, it's still way higher than pretty much any other rig you'd find off road outside the guys building 5500s. Besides if the Toyotas and Jeeps can double their payload and still be fine I'm sure...

    Vikings 2500 everything build

Def make sure you look into your payload and the weight of the camper. The 2500 has surprisingly low payload due to the springs.

What do you want to know? Badge swap was pretty straight forward. I bought OEM badges, cleaned the area, put up blue painters tape borders, pulled the factory ones off by heating them and sawing through the foam with fishing line, then used a 3M eraser wheel to remove the rest of the foam/glue...

    Vikings 2500 everything build

Unsure if this is directed at me. If it is then the "why" doesn't really matter beyond that I want to.

Yeah, you don't really need a lift to clear larger tires, especially if it's mostly pavement. Before you make any decisions on what you want to build I would recommend you make a list of your goals as well as the current capabilities of the truck and what you're trying to improve. Are you...

    Vikings 2500 everything build

Yeah, I was leaning toward the larger version mainly since it looked a bit more stable and I could use it across more tents. I've heard nothing but good things about the Falkens so I wouldn't weigh my experience too much against them yet. I'm working through a diesel shop, who is in turn...

    Vikings 2500 everything build

Thanks man. In terms of the ride so far. I'm having trouble sorting out the tires at the moment. Either the wheels are messed up or the tires are, or the tire shop just did a garbage job balancing. I am looking into some other shops to hopefully have them road force balanced. My King shocks...

    Vikings 2500 everything build

Absolutely! It's always great when you show up to trails with the toyotas and jeeps and people look at the truck and go "you're gonna take that thing on the trail?". I'm looking into a mr buddy heater for some late season/winter camping but so far I'm loving how simple camp was to setup and...

    HeliNomad RAM PowerWagon Build

Thats good to hear. I was initially planning amp steps but after a few recent trails I'm leaning pretty hard to steps. Good to hear they are working well for you as steps.

    HeliNomad RAM PowerWagon Build

@HeliNomad How do you like those sliders as steps? I'm 6'1" with some long legs but these trucks are tall to begin with and 37s don't help. Curious to know how they are working out for you as steps as I'm looking at doing the sliders in the coming months.

Well, made some unexpected mods due to timing and a good deal and was able to get out again. @GreggNY cut me a great deal on his cap, roof rack and roofnest and while I wasn't 100% sure about doing those mods I decided to roll the dice and give it a shot. So far I'm liking the ability to store...

    Power Wagon vs F250 Tremor

So I went through a similar process back from the early part of the year till July. I ended up with a 2019 Ram 2500 Cummins. I liked the Ford a lot, in the end some of the pluses on the Ram are what won me over. The Ram just seems to be a simpler platform overall. From suspension to engine it...

New 2019 2500 Cummins (not a PW) - too big?

I'm new to the offroading with a 2500 crew but I've got a 19 2500 CTD and so far it hasn't stopped me with trails in the north east. The fact it's new has kept me off a few tight trails mainly due to the fresh paint. That said, I think the power wagon in moab crew will tell you that you could...

The Unnamed - 2019 Ram Power Wagon Build

Sorry to hit you with all these questions. I'm actively debating between this and a tire in the bed so this is top of mind. I see the cam now, when you toss it in reverse do you see that camera on the center console? I don't know if you have the 360 cam (looks like you do) does this impact that...

I assume this blocks your rear cam. Did you buy the camera add on?

The Unnamed - 2019 Ram Power Wagon Build

Everyones financials are different so I can't speak for anyone but myself. That said, the fit and finish of the 67 designs stuff is great. They were also the originators of the design (metal, dual friction "grippers" vs the single ram mount style) and lastly they are made in the USA. So I wanted...
