    2017 Fuso FG With 600 Miles...Cheap ;)

Me. Plenty of experience, have a shop, and people say my work is better than what most convertors do, and I can customize it exactly as I need instead of working to fit into someone else's idea of the market. However this is a big undertaking in time and capital, knowledge and frustration, so...

    MERCEDES 1222

I do not like crew cabs because of the space the vehicle/wheelbase they add without any value to me, yet I completely see their value for those with families, dogs, or other passengers. What are the reasons that you are warming up to a crew cab and how will you use it other than passengers?

    2017 Fuso FG With 600 Miles...Cheap ;)

That price is more than cost to convert a new one and end up with a better four wheel drive system and suspension.

EarthCruiser/Fuso Driving Experience from a Sportsmobile Perspective

Thanks very much @geofff. Excellent review of the differences and your experience. How is is in the E series and NPR to move/"walk" from the driver seat to the passenger seat and exit out the passenger door. I do this regularly in my Sprinter and find it super convenient as well as the ability...

    Adding coolant loops

Yes, one should check the ratings for use with coolant and temps that engine operates in plus a safety factor. The fittings I used were all rated for this use. McMaster Carr and other supplies provide good information on use and ratings to help select appropriate materials.

Switching from Ford E-Series to FC/cabover (like Sportsmobile to Earthcruiser 4x4)?

Also considering the same options, so understanding your experiences would help much in making the best decision. Please elaborate on the reasons you prefer the Fuso over the E-series. Thank you,

    Adding coolant loops

I extended from my cooling system (2016 Mercedes Sprinter) to heat my heat exchanger for hot water while driving with thermostatic valve to allow it to pass if above 160F or return without going to the heat exchanger if below that. Works great, always hot water after driving for 15 mins. No...

Dirt worthy wheel and tire options for heavier campers

Toyo's Open Country 37x13.5"x17" MT and other similarly sized tires provide 4500 pound load rating, and many 35" tires provide 4000 pound load ratings, so it seems with Method 305 HD wheels also rated at 4500 pounds that a 8000 to 9000 pound tire & wheel load is doable if that is adequate for...

GXV Patagonia on the Kenworth K370 chassis

Just want to point out that not all batteries with lithium have the same cold use characteristics. Lithium Ion typically will discharge fine until about -20c and charge fine near or above freezing. However, other chemistries like lithium sulfur have been tested down to below -40c with little...

GXV Patagonia on the Kenworth K370 chassis

Hey Greg, thanks for your detailed response. On my Sprinter expedition camper I have a Dometic 9500 case awing, fully electric and legless with included wind sensor. I have had a sudden gust of wind come up while camping out at Black Rock and the wind sensor closed the awning before I could...

I am considering purchasing a Patagonia w/4x4 K370 and have visited GXV but have yet to drive one. How is road noise, ride comfort on and off road and washboard roads? Anything options that are a must? I am considering a 182" wheelbase, what size do you have? And how much are you actually...
