I shared a link for one that was for sale in our are area in the vans for sale. I can’t remember if it was 500 or 1000. I bought my rig with a strong 7.3 for about $1000 USD. I’d imagine he mostly would want scrap value... I’d think $500 would be a fair offer, snd see what he says.
keep in...
Good to know. I’m not there at this time, but may be one day.
So far it seems to run the small stuff well, and also the Mac500 compressor. The compressor specs say minimum 15 amp circuit, but don’t actually have an amp rating. It claims 1.5 Hp, but knowing how some compressors are rated, it may...
Sounds like the one I saw. I wondered if the Bypass was necessary... but based on your numbers it sounds beneficial. I’m sure my stock one leaves something to be desired (9k+ rig empty, 8.5’ tall, 7.5’ wide).
I just need to mount the tow bar on my 40 and I’ll be set. Between the two I’d have the best of both worlds. Base camp ‘cabin’ and an extremely capable trail rig.
Excellent
I don’t envy those circuit boards.
I’m quite happy to have a panel of breakers and all the wiring associated with them. Much easier to fix/modify. IMO
He’s got a Miller McCoy... just they all meet certain national standards and often work similar as a result. Also it’d a highly competitive industry and no manufacturer wants another to have features they don’t.
I disabled the oil pressure switch so that the box is powered whenever I want it...
In the original Crestline configuration, the box only stays powered on while there’s oil pressure. People can’t turn on the ignition circuit when it’s not running.
The idea is that the driver can pull up on scene at night, throw it in park, hit the parking brake, push the battery protect button...
It sounds like your anti-theft switch (circuit) is on. It allows the rig to stay running even if you remove the key.
12/120 for fluorescent sounds familiar... but I’ve never had.
Try finding specs for a ‘97... even harder. Or parts interchange. My 12/96 now has a 2001 master and booster for improved braking. It was a direct bolt in, however it did require new brake lines to cross over. I had them custom made, but they could be the same as a 2001 for all I know.
I guess...
Love the new roof btw. If I could get my hands on one I’d like to modify the front edge do it was straight and then mount it atop my type three.
While I’m in this fantasy world I’d punch a smaller hole to access it through and have a bed permanently set up there... and then tour the continent...
