scanguage2 or other, also air fuel mod chips and such reviews, likes dislikes

The SG2 is reading some data my 96 but I had to force it with the PWM option. I'm missing the oil data. Does anyone know about special codes on these?

Multiple fuel draws with one stand pipe?

I'm not a webasto expert but I think it would be safe to assume that it has an internal check valve. Either way if it has the check valve you're fine, and if it doesn't then it's designed to self prime every time. Also consider that gravity could naturally pull fuel away from the heater and the...

    FOUND Vans For Sale!

Ha, that's a good price if so.

Which model/motor do you recommend for an E350 build?

Analogous to preferring a penthouse or a basement apartment. There are privacy and insulation arguments but I have always preferred the ability to look out a window. In other words, personal preference.

    The Ute II: E350 RB 7.3 ZF6

Thanks, the van's been fine power/torque-wise. It was almost too easy crawling through Canyonlands for a week, mostly idling with little to no go-pedal input, and no fuss up and down slopes with approach/departure angles that scraped my bumpers. The weight of the van makes for great traction...

    The Ute II: E350 RB 7.3 ZF6

Chris would know this. My guess is yes but not certain. 1- I'm running 3.73 diffs and was getting mid-upper teens before the fuel and intake (depending on the terrain). I'm expecting slightly better but don't know yet. 2- Nope, the early 7.3's only had the mechanical i show above that...

    The Ute II: E350 RB 7.3 ZF6

Haha, yep. Awning and patio. I designed and analyzed the frame around a 500lb point load at the end of the platform. This load will result in ~.5" deflection with a factor of safety over 3. Two of what I'm calling "lockout frames" hinge up in the raised and extended position making it a usable...

    The Ute II: E350 RB 7.3 ZF6

Cheers, it's a fun van! It's been a few weeks so feedback time. Back in school I was taught to change only one variable in a system at time in order to isolate causation. That would have been ideal but there was no way I was going to spend any more time behind that dog house than I had to so I...

I have your same setup and run an 8" drop hitch. This works well with my trailer but I suppose trailer hitch heights vary.

I haven't added anything beyond Chris's springs that come with his kit, and haven't experienced any loose or wagging behavior over 2 rigs (one ambulance, one RB E350). My tow time with these two rigs has included 6 round trips pulling a 25' enclosed car hauler to Idaho and countless weekend...

Thanks gents. The van really does pull great, no odd behavior so far. FWIW an 8" drop hitch works perfect with my trailer.

What's the most common tire / wheel size on the vans.

6" Lift, 315/75 R16 here. This is the smallest wheel that the brakes fit in.

I like how the variable gap between the top of the bumper and the valance shows the twist in the frame.

    The Ute II: E350 RB 7.3 ZF6

I finally got all this plumbing sorted and now the van runs again! As fun as it is to improve the package I still hate having it out of commission. It feels like my Armageddon Kit is broken, and it's just too big for a lawn ornament... So we're now rolling electric fuel with enough capacity to...

The not-so-definitive guide to Sienna seats

AFAIK MG is the only one with front row seat mounts. Ujoint has the 2nd row seat mounts. The OEM Sienna 2nd row seats work for driver, passenger, and 2nd row (i.e. ALL) positions in our vans.
