    the R T T thread who has a favorite ?

I currently have a CVT, previously I had a Mombasa, I like both, but I would say the CVT does seem to be a small step up in overall quality.

Took it out for some deeper snow so the kids could do some sledding yesterday. Was a good chance to test out the used duratracs I found to put on a set of 17s I got a while back.

I haven't really felt it being too horrible on the stock gears with 35s, but I also moved from a disco2 on 33s to this and it's always felt like it's had more power there than the disco did. Matter fact, I noticed more power issue/loss/change after modifying my intake to fit my second battery...

so two weekends ago a buddy and I did route 6 of the obdr. It was pretty awesome. We were the first to plow through a solid 18” of snow for many miles. I'll try and post some pictures soon. In other news, I have been attempting to upgrade my tires in recent days. I found a set of 17” Wheels to...

Every picture was from a different trip. The post above my last one was all on the same trip though. So far it's done me well, I have enjoyed the better mpgs, I haven't had a chance to really wheel it still though like I used to in the disco, but I have definitely already missed the lower...

So I haven't done much but use the crap out of this thing of late. I did build a fold down table for the rear door though. And then here's some photos from over the past while just camping and such.

Over the weekend a group of friends and I went on a 700 mile trip, mostly not paved roads. Blasted some dunes, some shaky climbs, 70 mph gravel roads, and nearly 100 on a dry lake bed. Was a great trip and deff a good test for all the new suspension stuff. A couple pictures from the trip I...

Dont Call it a Build Thread

My ADD springs showed up Wednesday so I finished off the lift today by installing those and giving the torsens a crank. then I got started on my "rack" should be able to finish that up tomorrow. At the end of the day I realized that I forgot to adjust my track bar after getting the springs in...

1998 montero shocks selection Gas-a-shock vs Monomax

I'll chime in on my set up, 35s, monomax in the front, 10" travel 5100 in the rear, no sway bars, stock height currently as I am waiting on my springs to arrive. The rear feels quite a bit softer than the front, but I feel like part of that is the stock springs. I haven't taken it out on...

Dont Call it a Build Thread

Well I won't lie, I worried that I was going to, it was all so simple I honestly thought I was doing it wrong and ****ed it all up haha In other news I pulled the factory roof rails off and purchased the materials to build my "rack" so that's the next thing on the docket
