First and foremost...have a plan. Especially if you go wheeling/exploring by yourself. If you come to a section of trail or terrian that looks difficult...stop and survey the situation. You want to think about "how" you are going to get yourself out...before you get stuck or flop your rig...

Did you run out the full cable after buying it? Usually, the manufacturer recommends paying out the entire length, all but four/five wraps and redressing it under mild pressure (pulling vehicle with parking brake slightly applied or foot on brake, etc). This helps stretch the cable, pulling...

Well, over the last few days l've been able to follow along in your journey...from start until today. Quite the exercise in determination and "time will tell" attitude. Like others have already mentioned, you could sure feel the mood swing...once you entered the journey in the Renegade...

Excellent expedition. Sure like the way you two folks roll. Like your minimalist approach; it's not always about a high-dollar vehicle, fancy gear and accessories. And, just goes to show a person what can be accomplished with a great attitude, determination...and l suppose...a little luck...
