My local dirt trails right above town don't allow any E-bikes at all. But the paved bikepath have become downright dangerous. Tons of kids on them who have no driving skills or common sense and fly at top speed pass on blind corners.
I figure if I end up with a motorcycle style e-bike I will...
My wife and I traveled to a big city a month ago and had a ton of fun on rental scooters. We are now looking at all sorts of secondary vehicles from scooters to motorcycles, but looking more at an ebike, but considering a small on/off road motorcycle, back in the day they were called Enduros...
Its an S2 7.9. Waiting for a slip on that lake. Bear Lake Utah.
I also have a Pottter 19 on a buoy locally. Considering a larger boat so I can travel the coast, start in British Columbia and work my way down the coast, I already have my retirement home.
I have worked for a large number of small startups run by hippies with sewing machines, The North Face and Patagonia for example and watched them go through growing pains as they became huge and had to figure out how to run a big company. One went bankrupt and the other had to restructure when...
Healthy profit? What, I thought these business owners started a company, quit their old job, second mortgaged their home, risking it all to better their fellow man?
I still wonder how much of a health profit is being made by the average company owner in this industry? I have seen examples of...
Without this cool tightening thing. I would probably tie a loop near the top and then do a truckers hitch to a frame part underneath or hitch loop to create tension to keep it from wobbling so bad. With this anti-rattle pin it is rock solid.
Kind of the plan. Take out the better batteries and put them in the coach battery location. I have 3 other vehicles that also need batteries, I will shift the best ones around provided they fit. I am tempted to keep a second coach battery in this location but with a generator, I guess no need...
I don't think that applies anymore.

The system I am trying to figure out here is not the RV house battery system. It is a 3rd battery system besides the starter battery and coach battery system. The coach battery has DC-DC charger, generator and a converter/charger system. I have gone 4 days using this coach battery without any...
Yep wobbly as hell when first mounted. There are two hole in the receiver hitch and a solution to the wobbly mount issue called an anti-rattle pin. I have only driven a few 50 mile trips since installing. So far I like it.
Just an update. The installation of the receiver hitch did not come down any lower than my current clearance in the van, I actually had to cut the lower rubber lip to get it to fit. It was fairly easy to install and I now have a huge chunk of space back in my storage area. I would guess my 22...
I currenlty own two solar controllers. A Smartsolar 100/20 and a much larger one that lives in my RV. The Victron is in my custom battery pack to charge my Lifepo4 battery. I bought it overkill it only controls one portable panel and might be used to control up to 200watts of portable panels...
I will be installing a Blue Sky ciggie plug in this local. I have a fan that has a ciggie plug on it. I also have a USB plug that fits into a ciggie outlet. Except for the 12v fan both of these outlets will be used primarily to charge USB devices away from the front of the RV.
have a fan...
