I ended up getting an FSR trailer with RTT for the above stated reasons - no food / fridge in the sleeping set-up. All food / smelly stuff stored in the car, parked away from the site. Bear-muda triangle, blah blah blah.

I don't trust a stove, even...
Idon't disagree on something else to break, but 4a is pretty helpful where I live.
I'm fairly sure all the computers are going to break before the mechanicals anyway haha!
I think that's right. It's so unnecessarily confusing how Ford has positioned and marketed these- they basically crossed trim levels am with packages... making it super confusing if you're used to thinking about them separately.
anyway, I did end up picking mine up this weekend...I like it a...
This is what we're doing. Ages 6 and 3.5, things change monthly in terms of interest, attitude, time constraints, etc... keep it simple and comfortable for quick get aways. My wife and I also agreed to rent when we want to do something that requires a different set up ...vs committing ourselves...
Price and actual MPG missing from the announcements are red flags for me.
I have a f150 tremor at a dealer with a deposit holding it for me. Part of why I was slow playing actually picking it up was to wait for this announcement. I would have been willing to overlook the tonka truck design if...
Nah, not really, if you follow the right approach for cooking, food storage, etc. As 1000Arms said, look at the NP's in WY and MT...plus, the literally hundreds of thousands of out-of-towners who roll in with their crappy paper thin RVs who don't follow ANY of the bear avoidance rules parked all...
Yeah, it's wild sometimes seeing how little people care / worry about bears. It's a death sentence for the bears once they get habituated to food, and that's the "best" case if they come for a visit.
This friendly looking monster was a few miles from where we were camping this summer (tent). A...
I like the idea of the fence! One more deterrent for a few hundred bucks + a few lbs of weight seems worth the (possibly all in our head) peace of mind.
My current thinking is a more simple utility trailer (vs. teardrop) that we can pull the stove + food + attractants out and keep away from...
Hi all - how do people back country camp in expedition trailer (with stoves, fridges, food, scented stuff etc. inside their trailers) in bear country? What precautions do you take? Or is the trailer (e.g. Boreas, SoCal, type tear drops etc.) considered a hard-sided vehicle enough that you don't...
We'll see if it actually works out, but there have been a number of tremors 'in transit' to bigger dealerships in the last few days, and I was able to reserve one. Arrival is end of month.
I did talk to the salesperson at a local (smaller) dealership who said what we're talking about here- Ford...
I'm in Bozeman!
I am interested...but had a few questions:
1) Do you have more pics of the interior? Trying to get a sense for interior.
2) Twenty Gallon Underbody Tank with Skid Plate - what exactly is this? I couldn't find this on their website... is it one & same as 20g water tank?
3)...
Hi there- a few questions. Looks like a nice set up!
1) where do you store the bed platform when it's not installed? A few pics have it not in place, but I don't see if it's in the van elsewhere?
2) might just be the camera perspective, but bed frame looks small... what are dimensions? Can 2...
