So here's a question for those of you that have owned/own/or spent enough time in the other rig options. What seems to have the most or comparative interior space out of the WJ, monteros (sports too!), discos, and 4runners?

there a year(s) and trim level that had a locker option in the sports as well, cant remember what that was though EDIT just found a 99 sport limited that has a locker, so at least that year.

Well that's not too fair of a comparison though. You have to look beyond that type of stuff too. BUT, I fit 33s on my WJ with no lift and you can get 4runners with a locking rear diff also... I have owned a WJ and I freakin loved that thing. Now I am a Land Rover owner and having the same...

haha the other side wasn't buried as deep, but that wasn't the problem here, I ended up beaching the middle cross member. in the event of having more than just the center locker it might have pulled out, but I ended up needing a tug rearward. nothing to serious, it happens when you attempt...

SUCCESS! Took the old flat head and hammer out, found a good angle, and smashed the **** out of it. it was quite satisfying, almost felt as good as when the door opened. I now have 5 operational doors again so that's great, my kid loves it too haha Thanks for the tip ColoDisco!

sort of a hard wire idea then, that may be my only option as I no longer have remote locking. before I start googling the pin outs, anyone have a link for that handy?

cant say I do for sure, I know I have a couple of o-ring picks that have 90s on them though cause I just used them lol. what is your idea of attack?
