Looking forward to this Dan, and though dedicating yourself to video will be painful, it will certainly help with your exposure. It's a crime that so many just can't be bothered to read.
Does anyone have any indication as to if North America will see the payload increases as well? That would...
That's fantastic to hear. I'm looking at replacing my aging JKUR with a Trailhawk.
It looks like I can't option the diesel in any trim level though, which is disappointing. I'm not sure if it was fully discontinued in the GC, or if its a Canada specific discontinuation.
This is an ancient thread, but just in case someone googling comes across it like I did: The Ram and GC air suspensions are completely different designs. The Ram is an open system, which is the cause of the cold climate issues. The GC is a closed system, and has no issues particular to cold...

Double the vertical impact durability (curbs, washboards) of any other JLR vehicle made.

How do you like your GFC? I assume the features are comparable to the one listed here?
My primary concern is dust proofing. I've spoken to the owner of this Jeep, and though he says the topper is dust proof, the Jeep tailgate is another story entirely. How did you manage dust proofing yours?

I think the slant top is a positive, because you can position it against the wind. But the space within the shell itself is almost always largely wasted, or it has an impractical layout for living...
Rational posts aren't allowed in this thread. You must be polarized to one of two completely opposite camps, and format your posts with vitriol and willful ignorance towards any positive aspect of your opponent's position.
And I thought the Jeep community was bad...
With respect, Canada only made the switch recently.... and that was from the Iltis. It was only done because our current Iltis' were falling apart. By that point the writing was on the wall regarding the Defender, so it wouldn't have made any sense as a replacement.
My GF is very excited...
