m13/3 maggiolina changing room. set it up once in the driveway, but my tent is an old one and doesn't have the pieces to hold it in place at the top. i'll probably never get around to modifying my tent and i won't use the room enough to warrant keeping it around. $500 + shipping, retail is...
yup, sucks. amazing how many cool companies are against motorized recreation. rei is the biggest. they're actually anti a lot of stuff, including mountain biking and some of their higher ups are against people in nature completely. hypocrites
pardon the thumb, i was pulling up to the stop light in bright sunlight (you'd think after all these years, the smartphone builders could figure out a way to make the screen visible)
rei is anti ohv so i avoid them. a couple of guys i know have had softtops repaired at stitchlines in englewood across from a & a exhaust shop on broadway and, once when phyllis at stitchlines was backed up, she sent a guy about a block down broadway (he couldn't remember the name) and it was...
i agree.
i had diamond plate on my 68, there was no rust, but it was built for hardcore wheeling. the diamond plate was very thick and definitely kept corners from getting crunched. properly treated underneath and not closed off on the bottom, the body can be kept in decent condition...
i didn't, never been to his shop, but would love to go. i live in colorado tho, so a bit far away. i just hang out with georg and different cruiser events ;)
" In the last 60+ years, it's morphed from a rugged utilitarian 'Jeep' like vehicle to a modern, sleek, luxury SUV" in the u.s.
Other countries still get cool utilitarian land cruisers
what kind of price tag is attached to the james barouds? i don't see anything on the website. also doesn't look like they offer changing rooms, so you're still kind of screwed there. i picked up a changing room for my maggi, but my top was produced before the rooms were available so i have to...
georg says on older rigs is easy, you just request a certificate of repower. i don't live in the Republik, but i'm helping build a 4bt pig for my brother who does, so georg has been a great source of sanity in what i thought would be an insane project
transmission, transfercase, shifter plate assy, torque converter for sale. came out of a 96 lx450 soccermom mobile. i bought the powertrain to swap into my pig, but it looks like i'll just be swapping my pig body onto my 95 fzj80 frame since the body is about done. would love to get this out...
any review/thoughts on it yet? i'm looking for a new fridge freezer since my waeco has become just a freezer. my waeco is an older unit and their quality may be better now, but their hideous customer service will keep me away, so i'm looking at other options.
i picked up and older waeco cf35 made by mobicool and it worked great for about a year....now it's just a freezer. i've heard the same from a couple of other folks who have the older models also. we've been replacing things left and right and still no fix and waecos customer service is...
don't use armor all. between the silicates, alcohols and petroleum products, it's not good. a damp cloth is the best for wiping down interiors, but if you need a chemical cleaner, choose something like 303 aerospace.
