:1888fbbd: The finish on the inside of the pan will peel away. I actually ended up taking some fine steel wool to remove the rest of the finish and now season it like a cast iron pan in order to keep food from sticking to it.
Looking great, like the risers! You'll love that SP cook set. Make sure and season the frying pan well. When you do the initial heat on the frying pan to burn off the sacrificial coating make sure you don't leave it on for too long or too high, ask me how I know:Wow1:
That is good advice, what's another $100 for a battery compared to being stuck and having to get help. The guys from Adventure Trailer really like the DECA batteries and I've been impressed with the one in my trailer. I think the price is still steep but Mario was saying that they are still...
That is some great advice. I've got a Halon unit from these guys so when it happens I don't have a lot of clean-up from the chemicals.

Mine is mounted in the back but now thinking I should grab another unit for the front.
Still bumming for you Graham!!!
All right, I'm feeling a bit better. Your thread title had me imagining a molten pile of aluminum. I hate reading about Defenders and fires...Once again really sorry about your experience.
