    2012 F150 Mild Build

So glad I left there. I hated seeing the damage those winter months did to cars. Miss the nice areas of course, and I'd love to make a return to the UP... but ugh salt man

    2012 F150 Mild Build

@docster man you did good by nipping that in the bud before it got out of control. There are a few threads on the Raptor forum about rust in that area and 5 digit repair bills. Also throw so spray paint on your frame my dude! LOL

    New 270 Awning available.

I really like the Kinsmen Hardware's product but the cost is so damn steep. I'm looking the OVS 270 right now.

    BEACH TRUCK BEGINS

Now you just need a two tone paint job and you'll have that 1988 truck chic down pat! Maybe some oldschool KCs just behind the cab just for good measure! lol Looks great!

They also sell the harness and switchboard that came with the GEN1 Raptors. You can actually buy the center dash to accept too if you are going for the full on factory look.

    2012 F150 Mild Build

I've seen the same thing. Just sometimes those "stainless steel" mounts for lights are not so great. Though he did pick up Baja Designs which are pretty well regarded. My VisionX mounts are all black but have a bit of paint flaking off. More than likely early next summer I'll take a bunch of...

    2012 F150 Mild Build

@docster I'd spray a bit of fluid film into a rag and wipe the metal mount for the light housing. I've seen them rust up real quick. Love the setup, looks great! I have something very similar, just a bit bigger housings and I think its more than enough light for most situations.

10th Generation F-150 Overland build (The Craptor)

@OBS460 I love the Meguiars stuff you used however I just tried the Chemical Guys Hybrid Ceramic and I think I like it a bit more. Oh and you'll never go wrong with fluid film. I literally just put half a can on the underside the other day after cleaning.

10th Generation F-150 Overland build (The Craptor)

I've thought plenty about getting something a bit bigger and throwing a shell on the back of it and build a little sleeping area and calling it a day but that means new payments and a new truck and all that jazz. I like what I got, its getting a bit old now, but I have plenty of good memories...

@docster Love that area of the state. A little under appreciated, the whole west coast between Grand Haven and Traverse City, but man some great spots to be found.

rCI skid plates and hidden winch for f150

Also the type of wheeling you do. If you're a solo guy its a must, or at least you need to be reasonable cautious. My next run is with a group that includes a chase truck so I mean if I get stuck there will be like 9 other trucks there with tow straps.

rCI skid plates and hidden winch for f150

@Boatbuilder79 as I've grown older my need for a winch on any prospective build has gone down significantly. In about 6 years of ownership I think I've used my winch to help me get unstuck 3 times. Having it handy is nice since I've also pulled countless people out, but with the proliferation of...

rCI skid plates and hidden winch for f150

If you have it in your budget those new Warn winches have remote control including the drum clutch, meaning you can put it in free spool without popping the hood. Its on my short "ohhh I want that" list.

    2012 F150 Mild Build

SDHQ makes some great stuff, you'll really like it! When adding those in it helps to have a buddy because if the hood latches get out of wack its gonna be a long day!
