It appears to bolt to the frame and has loops on the lowest point. I would say it could withstand a tug. If you are stuck and can't get free from that tow point, you have bigger problems.

David, Are you just planning on daily driving it or do you plan to make some mods? Give us a little more detail as to what duties you will be pulling with this pound puppy. If it were me I know what I would do...

I agree that going to 235's or 245's would help and you don't have to go all the way back to stock... Nothing wrong with being realistic.
