How has the rest of the tent held up? Any leaks or other flaws to speak of? I had read in another thread on here where water was coming in some of the rivets but haven't seen much more about it.

What about some of the quick connect products from Spray-Away. They make faucets, hose storage, flexi spouts, etc that may work great for your spot. Plug in a flexi spout for washing hands and swap it out for a short hose or long hose for filling pots, showers, rinsing off, etc...

That looks very well built. I would love to see one of those designed for a tailgate. Perhaps ~18" wide and ~18" tall. I like the roll top design and the material used.

They have held up great. I have zero rattles and the tpu rubber inserts are still firm. If you're mounting to round bars these are definitely the way to go.

In case anyone is interested in what a stock bed weighs... I pulled mine when I replaced a fuel pump 4 years ago and it was 187 kg (412 lbs). That's an 8' bed from a 2006 dodge ram with a Line X spray in bedliner and no tail lights. I would love to have the easy access storage of a utility...

I got some work done on the battery tray this weekend. Drilled 4 holes in the frame and installed 3/8" rivnuts. I also cleaned things up with a sanding disc and wire wheel then applied 2 coats of self etching primer and 2 coats of paint. Getting closer to having power again. Still need to...

For camping I use a wad of aluminum foil. It's something that we already carry so there's no need to haul an extra item like a brush covered in funk. Works pretty well too. At home, I use a brush.

I still don't get what the fuss is about cutting the holes in the awning bag. Like Dozer said above, every mounting configuration is going to be different therefore requiring different holes to be used. Once you sandwich these mounting holes between whatever bracket you're mounting the awning...
