Arrived last night, checked in this morning, banished to quarantine now. I have a lot of moving in to do, and a few little projects on the truck, though I'm going to have to wait on detailing it for a few weeks.
Made a pilgrimage to somewhere quite important to me. I have some good footage in store for those of you who care about it. Should be ready by the end of the week.
I love me some BFG KO(2)s but I've been super happy with them, and Ive had them on pretty much every vehicle that could take them (they don't work on an RX8) but if you're looking at Falken or Toyo I would say give the X3s a look. They were great on snow, they are amazing in dirt and mud...
Yes sir, I will be in one until July 1st. At least now all the people who were telling me that some of the trails I wanted to hit up in Colorado were a bit dangerous in April should be safe enough if I hit them up in July or August.
Okay that makes a fair bit more sense. I understand it sucks, but I wouldn't be willing to do it. I'm okay with using a different tire, a used tire, anything really thats the same size... but hell if you have to a 35 inch tire is better than nothing.
My question would then be where are you...
No way I'd be at all confident on a donut, whether on a trail or on the highway. Plus if you have the space for a donut, you should reasonably have room for a full sized. 100 miles is too far for me on a donut, and to not have the flexibility and have my trip potentially ruined by that would be...

Looks like GEN1 and GEN2 wheels are different. I thought they were the same, as its not uncommon for GEN1 guys to use some of the GEN2 wheels on their trucks.
Yeah, I've see one or two people who skimped on the tank option and regret it almost immediately. My work truck was a Screw with a 26 tank and I had no idea why they had bought it that way. First time I filled it up and I clicked off at 23 gallons I was like ******?! On the opposite end of the...
Realistically you'll never regret having stuff you never use on your truck.
I've never heard a single person [in person] who bought a up-trimmed truck and wish they had bought something lower than it.... I mean I've seen plenty of people on forums, this one included, wax poetically about base...
@Martinjmpr I dont actually dislike column shifters, they are just fine; All my work trucks had them and I had no issue with it. but In my vehicles I've always preferred console shifters.
We can all agree on one thing: Screw puck shifters. Ban of my existence.
I was a helicopter mechanic for 2 years and I messed my safety wire up so many times. But having a good inspector who makes you redo the bad ones will always help.
Hawaiian style trucks are the slammed/stance vehicle of the offroad community. Started out reasonable based on a need then just kept getting more and more out of hand and exaggerated. I lived in Hawaii for 7 years, these trucks are a dime a dozen. Almost always a Tacoma, sometimes a Tundra, and...
