How much rough road can the Disco take?

Yep, you do have a point. Guess I can't complain about all the noises coming from the Defender anymore.:xxrotflma

How much rough road can the Disco take?

Corrugations, can't be louder than in a Defender. http://expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6882

Slotted & drilled rotors - worth it?

I'm running the DBA (Disc Brake Austrailia) Gold rotors up front with stock LR pads and am very pleased. Hard to say it is better than stock because my fronts were pretty shot when I changed it out. I won't hesitate to go with the DBAs in the rear when the time comes.

Sell me on a Land Rover

If you have to question if a LR if right for you, than you are probably not going to be happy with any LR. I've owned a CJ5, FJ40, multiple FJ55s, FJ62 and a FJ80 and have loved each of them. With that said I always knew that I had to have a Defender some day. No questions, no doubts and no...

    SG Springs

Tested out the SG springs for the second time off road this last weekend and am still very happy with them. They have a good amount of droop, which makes them fun in the rocks. Thanks again Keith and Graham, really appreciate you two putting the deal together. :wavey:

    Tomb Raider replica

While not the way I'd put a vehicle together, still something I wouldn't pass up if given to me. The price is way too steep and I don't think it shares anything w/ the Tomb Raider except color and a badge. Now if that was advertised for 10K there would be plenty of folks ready to snatch it up...

What do you think of tentrax?

I took a look at them before purchasing my AT. My thought was that it was a smallish tent with a little extra storage. I needed a larger tent, which is not an option, and more storage. After checking out the AT there were many more benefits such as, independent suspension, Engle w/ slide...

    The Anti-Trailer thread

Gary, sorry to hear your experience was so negative. My offroad experience has actually been enhanced towing an AT. Part of if has to do with my two young kids and all the stuff that comes along. The only time I get tense is when I have to back up on technical trails, but it's still worth...
